The sequence should be - get the images from FSEarthTiles into the work folder. Find the problematic bmp files. Open them in gimp. Add the alpha channel and correct the areas. Export as a TIFF back into the the work folder. Then delete the bad bmp files. Then run inf2twf.

Hi,
This is how I have mine set. Folders set up as above.
<[string8][extra_user_folder][E:\My Scenery]>
Hope this helps.

Hi,
aerofly FS 2 added a parameter to define any user folder:
See this note:
Rodeo
Is this correct form:
<[string8][J:\AFS2\Scenery\Images][]>
Where J is the HD. I tried this form and when I checked the log and the main.mcf file afterwards it had defaulted to the original.
I get this warning in the log file:
0.28-module_config: loading config file 'C:/Users/Len/Documents/Aerofly FS 2/main.mcf = WARNING: property 'J:\AFS2\Scenery\Images' is not a member of type 'tmsettings_sim' hash=11719998322492873262.

I've created the files in the scenery\images folder. However since they must be moved to Documents\Aerofly FS 2\scenery this
folder is on my C drive which is my SSD boot drive with 250 GB. No way do I want these files to go there. I have 1 external 2 TB drive, internal 2 TB and 3 TB drives. I want them to go on any of these. How can I do that given the Steam setup of AFS2.
