    Mornin.

    I see no available field

    <[string8][extra_user_folder][]>

    in my main.mcf file

So, I can add nothing (within the brackets []) to nothing that exists.

Are you trying to say we should ADD the field first with the adaptation for the path we require?

If so, I assume you have no preference as to where in the main.mcf this line should reside?

    e.g.

    .

    .

    <[string8][aircraft][c172]>

    <[string8][aircraft_repaint][]>

    <[string8][extra_user_folder][E:\Program Files\AeroFly Scenery]>

    <[tmsettings_flight][flight_setting][]

    .

    .

Also, if the above is correct, can we add more than one of these lines so we can "arrange" our sceneries and thereafter more easily share them?

Forget the last question IF as I think you said that AFS2 will scan for sub-directories of sceneries. A famtastic idea BTW lads and lasses.

    Many thanks in advance.

    My earlier post.....

    ---------------------

May I suggest the you guys have a chat with Peter ........ who I have supported.

    http://pmem.uk/joinfs/index.html

He would be a very good addition to your team to specialise in multiplayer (collaborative flying).

    ---------------------

IPACS - You may have your multiplayer plans well advanced? and thus don't need to take a look at the great work this chap has done and continues to do for the sim community.

I know he said he tried to make contact with you guys briefly but heard nothing back.

If that's true it is a real shame.

Either way please look at this for ALL our benefits.

Currently, in FS2 in VR, I feel like I'm alone at a fantastic nightclub just doin my thing. If I'm bustin moves I want my flyin buddies to see and I want to see them too - is all !!

    Cheers.

Sorry, if our answer disappoints you. But I am sure you will stick with Aerofly for some more time, as we probably publish enough stuff, just in time, to keep you interested ;)

Also, you should at least wait for LOWI, as this is a whole new world...

I'm NOT disappointed at all by your approach. In fact I applaud it and and that of your partner(s) esp. ORBX for the way you ALL/BOTH are handling your obviously superior and MODERN sim.

VR is outstanding and with a future multiplayer (should be called collaborator) support you'll have the winning ticket for a truly professional application.

    I CAN wait.

Yep this is by far the best way to do it... No need to re-invent the wheel.

+ 1 for Multiplayer support PLEASE in VR will be awesome.

Our group (37 members) ALL will be Aerofly at some point and ALL will only become that IF multiplayer is provided. Else, it'll be me and ONE other who luv ya no matter what else occurs. :)

I think the case for Multiplayer is there FAR BIGGER that you think !!

It is worth noting that this issue appeared in VR mode. Since then I have had it ONCE in standard 2D monitor mode and now thereafter the issue has gone. I can only assume that the initialisation in VR is related to that FROM standard 2D monitor mode.

Hope my guess is correct and this helps.

Again, I would like to be a beta tester specifically in the VR area. Can you let me know?

    Thanks.

    Bob.

I seem to be having a trees issue after the Utah update.

On 1st use I see trees as various coloured 2 faced (90 degree) crosses that disappear when I get close to them. Note this is the sort of tree display I was using in AutoCad 3d some 20 years ago.

If I change the graphical settings then the software re-initialises and the anomaly goes away. I can change my settings back to normal i.e. back to all on Ultra and the problem is fixed (for that session).

I'm having to do this each time obviously.

Is this possibly because I use all Ultra settings to start with?

Just some feedback for you. Hope you can fix.

Also, this issue I have read from others about "yellowish" ground texturing. That happened to me on the 1st 16GB steam download. It took the approx. 76GB download thereafter to FIX that issue.

Finally, I use Oculus Rift and would like to be a beta tester for your product with the orbx sceneries for which I have about 90%. Please let me know.

Thanks for all your hard work - much appreciated - Bob.
