    First I want to thank you for the help you have given me over the past couple of weeks, it has helped me so much.

    Alas no. I lie in bed with my lappy or in front of my desktop strapped into a w/chair (severely disabled) and dream of being a real world Pilot, that's why I am simply amazed and thrilled with what VOZ, then Orbx (who took it over, and ventured into the future) now with an amalgamation with IPAC the pair have taken flt simming scenery to yet another huge level.

    If only I was fit enough to use this new Sim, I would play all day. That's how high I now regard it.

    Thank again Ray, you've been a real mate.

  • Innsbruck the Greatest ride of my life

    Hello All.

    I have to say this to get it off my chest

    Innsbruck in AFS2 will give you, as a flight Simmer, everything you have looked for all your life in flying. Take no notice of the naysayers, you'll never please them, I'm sure they say negative things to be smart, or fool you,
    into thinking they actually know something.

    Since flight Sim, or any other flying program has hit the shelves I have just about bought them all. I am in the best possible position to do that (but that's another story).

    Once the AFS2 opened on my one 24" monitor, and I set everything up (an absolute breeze and a joy) I decided to fly Innsbruck. One word describes this WOW!!, I'm a grumpy old geeza at the best of times, but this, Innsbruck together with AFS2 has made me want to show anyone and everyone who'll look and listen.

    It's the greatest flying experience I have encounted in that many years it scares me to think.

    I congratulate everyone who had anything to with making this unbelievable and thrilling scenery, but in particular Jarrad Marshall. This gifted and talented man, made this for you. Buy it, even if it's just our way of saying thanks to him. Goodness only knows how long he spent working on this master class, but whatever happens, it will always take pride of place in my computer.

    I have a beat up old joystick and the planes I flew were great.

    Congratulates again Jarrad. We are oh so lucky to have you, and to think there are other fantastic dev's out there, just look at FTX, then the future of Simming is it great hands.

    Thank you gentlemen, so from now on it's a waiting game for updates for AF FS2, that's good, no problem here.

    Ray, a question for you. I bought Innsbruck (LOWI) for FTX. Then at a further 40% off also got it for AF FS2. But it doesn't show as being installed in the DLC list. Did or do you find that? looking forward to flying around there.

    Yes I have done the same, as I only, until now, buy Orbx scenery. I have almost all of them for FTX. For Aerofly FS2 I bought again from Orbx Innsbruck, Switzerland, and something else which I''ve forgotten now.

    So Ray, what are we all excited over now. The 17th which is now for the planet, what are we all waiting for. I'm getting really confused:)

    Hello All.

    I'm an old geeza, living in a relatively isolated area.

    I'm completely confused as to what we have been given on the 15th and now the talks the 17th on Steam.

    The 15th to me was the release of LOWI, Switzerland and Meig's. Right?

    The next magic happening, if it's not gossip or wishful thinking, is on the 17th on Steam. So what are we expecting to get on that.

    There's so many Sims on the market at the moment, all wanting our dough.

    What can I look forward to in regards to AFS 2 at this moment.

    Hi John.

    You are so right. I have never heard of the word 'troll', but understand now what it means, and how carefull Mods and Admins have to be as there are obviously all sorts that make up forums.

    As long as everybody is happy now (I have learnt so much from some very clever people), we win the Yachting (America's Cup), the Rugby against the Lions and finally, can I wish the people from the UK my deepest sympathy in there latest horrific fire.

    Again thank you gentlemen, I certainly have plenty to read up on now. I appreciate it all, particularly as my original post was going to be closed by someone who advises that he is very experienced. I have know doubt he is, but it just goes to show you can never stop learning. A good lesson for all of us.

Your reply and explanation was exactly what I was looking for, I knew what I wanted and both of you and two other's on page 1 answered me perfectly, that's why I was a little 'toey', with what went on earlier.     All's well. I want to thank those who replied with a more in depth description. I was curious to know why we could not use these beautiful planes, now I fully understand. Thank you.

    I must apologise too. Being stuck in the same place week after week, year after year with little that one is able to do, does tend to make you very 'short' at times knowing there will be no improvement in the future.

    I asked what I thought was a genuine question a day or two ago on this forum. I was promptly brushed aside by another user with an answer that made me wonder why write to this forum just to get an un-interested reply like that.

    This was quickly followed up by an administrator who couldn't wait to close my thread.

    I am a very elderly pensioner, who has done his bit in Vietnam and the rest of his working life as Officer in Charge of many back Country Police Stations. I lie here in bed severely disabled with almost no movement but try my best to fly this sim and understand it's workings.

    I asked a very simple question. Wanting to know why we cannot use the beautiful FSX planes we have all bought over many long years. I didn't realise that the question was so hard and that was why I was brushed off. Is there a chance that these planes can be converted one day.

    Oh well, perhaps another forum will explain to me, so I'll get a better understanding.
