I never had it to do this though. My custom 5860x1080 resolution was recognized. I only had to select it in settings.

Great, thanks!

I'm having goosebumps. Can't wait to go VFR from Teuge (my birth village) or take the A320 from Amsterdam (current city) to Switserland.
This is nothing but a wet dream for me as a dutchman.

Hi Thomas,
we thank you very much. We strive for excellence but also know that we have more work to be done.
We are glad that you are enjoying Aerofly as much as we all enjoy making it
I don't want to open a new topic and 'pollute' the forum; but just want to say that I fully agree with the compliment of Chiefkoch.
You guys are doing an amazing job. You're having me as a customer for the foreseeable future (aka i'm in for the 'the long run').
Also posted this on Steam.
Regards!

When I run FSET the files appear in the /work folder. Not in a scenery folder. That's where they should appear.
Does this not happen for you? Have you made sure that you replaced the default /work folder in the FSET application with the folder you created?

Put the visibility on really low and you'll drop out of the clouds at the minimum aswell
. So much fun indeed.

ILS and VOR are built into Aerofly FS2 already world-wide.
Holy guacamoly. This is awesome. Just realized ILS works on my freshly made EHAM strip.
*edit* only seems to catch the localizer in a jet. Not the G/S.

Thanks a lot luk45. This tutorial was the last nudge I needed.

Thanks for making this. Truly great and much appreciated.

I would give half a limb for a KLM livery of the A320.

During my flight, after reaching the TOC, only the first white TOD that appears is fixed. Changing the altitude won't move it. Let's say I then descend and arrive at 6000ft a new TOD will appear. That one is variable and will shift up or down when changing the altitude knob (not engaging it). I have to admit, I do have some doubts how to interpret that new TOD arrow though.
I do this alot, descending to a somewhat higher altitude, to emulate ATC instructions or a holding pattern, before descending to approach and then capture the localizer/glideslope.

Well, currently I have nothing to wish for on the aircraft side. Eventually an agile Airbus longhauler like the A330 would be great. Or the Boeing 777, which they are already working on. (767/787 are also great planes, love the sound on the 767).

Using SteamVR though. I use SteamVR aswell, not a problem for a GTX 1060, let alone a 1080.

I have and I even tried auto-land back then and I think it worked... Not sure if it still does...
I did a few attempts (intercepted GS at 2700) of which one autolanded and with the other the AP disengaged automatically +-few hundred ft before the runway, just before the last trees on the hill. Quite liked that. It's a CAT1 right? So not too trustworthy in real life I guess
After that I had enough
trustconfidence to go ahead and disengage it myself and fly visual to land a bit earlier and catch the taxi-exit. Ouch that's scary when you are used to your little friend the AP -

???
@bbrz, do you, by any chance, mean --> this one <-- ?
Because if it's the one, you answered at a different thread...

Oh dear, landing at Bern (BELP) in foggy conditions. What an aproach with all those trees just before the final! Have to disengage the AP pretty early on to get a steeper glideslope in order not run out of runway.
You should try it, so much fun
