I am surprised to read that the photorealistic ground texture is a problem when with aerofly fs2 is the easiest of the all simulators to create coverage with aeroscenery.
I believe, you have never done photoscenrerie?

I'm currently doing a revamped photo scenery of the whole of Italy.
I've corrected all the artifacts for a seamless harmony, many, many handpaintings, corrections, and more.
But: It's in progress and needs a little more time.

1) it misses a button in 'choose location departure' to allow to delete the flight plan precent ... it is painful because if you go on another country it remains.
Go to navigation menu and look up to the right corner. There is a Button to delete your flightplan. Is this, what you looking for?

There is no waterstructure. Its only jpeg-compression.
I use for RGB: "10, 20, 30". " 7, 23, 46" is to blue fro me. "10, 20, 30" its more like the original oceancolor. Try it self!
