Key West?!?!?!
(Bel stampedes over to the downloads section)THANKS DRHOTWING1!!!!!!!
My old stomping grounds.

a Tilt-rotor would be a fantastic addition to AF2. Just imagine the movies you could make with one of those.
Regards,
Ray
Oh believe me, I have... LOL!
-
Anyone who knows me, knows what I am going to type before you finish reading this line...
Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
LOL!
a nice helo such as the CH-47 or CH-53 would not go amiss either. Of course i am a sucker for strange aircraft too, so BA-609 Tiltrotor would make my day too.

Nicely done sir.
-
That's just downright majestic!!
-
It certainly is. I made that run in both the Corsair, and the F/A-18 Hornet. I think the Hornet video was the more popular of the two. I had to put a disclaimer on that one that it may cause nausea in viewers.

Added December 15th video. Aspen to Denver, King Air, talking about the engine sounds. I was seeing Star Wars last night, so sorry for the delayed update to the thread.

Drhotwing1 You have my undivided attention about the Florida Keys.... Hoping you all do not forget NAS Boca Chica! My Hornet needs that!
As for my night, I decided to try out some twin turbo action over Denver. Engine pitch still sounds weird to me, but she flies purrrrrrfectly.
Ready to depart KASE Aspen Pitkin
Lining up Runway 33
Sayonara, Aspen!
Near Red Table VOR
Cruising. I need champagne.
Tally Ho, Denver!!
Inbound, Runway 34L...
It's going to take me DAYS to find the GA stand. I'm just going to park right here.
I've never been to Denver IRL, let alone their airport, but it FEELS like I actually visited there.
I hope when you do Pennsylvania, you will get that same feel for Pittsburgh. It's quite a unique city, and our airport KPIT has a similar spread out vibe as KDEN does. Just seeing the undulating runways will make it feel like home.
Video to come this Friday, THANK FOR ALL THE FIXES YOU DID!!! Works perfectly now! -
@Redtail- I knew you would like it!!
@drhotwing1- Thank you so much!! You guys ROCK!

Hey guys.
I went to record tonight for the next episode, and noticed something odd.
Prior to this I could select "Show native view in main monitor" in the options, so that I have one full monitor screen (perfect for recording videos in 1080p ultimately), but now neither enabling nor disabling it will remove the side by side (SBS) view of both eyes. So instead of one glorious cinematic screen, I now have two half monitor screens for each eye.
Did something change? Has the feature been overridden? The way it was, it was perfect for me to record. Now, with the two eye view, not so much.
Please advise if there is something I may have done in error, or something I can do to put it back the way it was. Also I notice the HUD is now appearing in there. That's also new.
Not what i want
What I want.

You know, I forgot about good old Orbx. I have not gotten their scenery for AF yet. I still have their FSX stuff though.
-
I'm still looking. SO far that is the only one i have run across with people. I believe there are a couple of aliens near area 51 though.
-
I hear it is possible, but not without a lot of work to match up the bones, since the characters are set as pilots. (Their arms would need to be switched from right hand on throttle to left hand on throttle or yoke.)
-
She's so cute too! I love flying this thing. My hashtag all week has been #BarrelRollsAllDay!
-
I think this was the thread we were discussing it. Try here. I know SOMEONE was able to get the pilot body to show in VR, but i do not remember the details of it.
-
We were discussing this when I joined, and apparently there is a (time consuming) way to change where the hands sit. My biggest wish is for a SDK for pilots. I would love to be able to make a pilot model looking like me, and adding it in.

The c172 and jungmeister have engines that can be turned off and back on in the public release now.
And the C172 has working mixture!
Also the King Air is now not overspeeding the props anymore on the ground,
Of course more improvements will come but I feel this is a good start yes?
Now that is good stuff! Thank you.
-
Sprung this one on me. I have a video going up tomorrow talking about the cold and dark mod, Doesn't look like it is needed anymore.
BUT... Now it gives me a chance to do a follow up video for Saturday, where I can fly the biplane!
Thanks IPACS...
Btw, any reason why you took out the door/window opening feature in the Cessna? I really liked that.
