UPDATE:
Maui and Oahu Islands Cultivation 2019 live on flight-sim.org
I'm running it in ScenProc at the moment so lets see what happens?
ScenProc has been running over night and not completed the processing.
It needs to be done in 4 parts.
Good idea, thanks.
The Milford Sound looks OK.
The Vancouver area is very big and the OSM Data download is 144 MB. I try to keep them to 30 MB maximum.
Can you provide a smaller area please.
Thanks, Michael.
Thank you.
Cold Lake Cultivation uploaded onto flight-sim.org
Send me a map of your "Cold Lake" and I will take a look at it for you.
This tutorial assumes some knowledge in using Nick Hod's "AeroScenery". I'm no expert by the way and the little knowledge that I have gained has been due to burning a lot of midnight oil and drinking lots of tea, very British.
La Gomera Island I have used for this tutorial.
My settings in "AeroScenery"
On completion of the image downloads you need to open your photo editor, I use the FREE Paint.Net which works perfectly OK.
You then import the "stitched images" from the download map folder created by !AeroScenery".
Then the editing begins.
Set the colours to edit to R=10, G=20 and B=30.
Unedited Images.
Using the paintbrush these are the edited images.
The above shows the process of editing and on completion save the changes.
Once you have edited all the images of the download you can then process the scenery in "AeroScenery" using "Run GeoConvert".
To save hard drive space I delete all the files leaving only the "geoconvert ttc" files in the map folders.
El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria going live on flight-sim.org
THANK YOU..........................
Doing La Gomera as I type this.
Installation path should be Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator, scenery, places, "Tenerife Cultivation 2019"
The Island of La Gomera is live and kicking and ready to download from flight-sim.org
Kindest regards to all,
Michael.
Tenerife cultivation version 1 2019 now available to download from flight-sim.org
GCXO is available here................. http://www.fscloudport.com
I'm making Tenerife cultivation as an experiment. Watch this space.
If you have no buildings you may of forgotten to add the "building_textures" folder, I have made this mistake only too often!
Cultivation is available on flight-sim.org
You can use AeroScenery courtesy of Nick Hod to make your own photo scenery.
Bing has the best images.
See attached file.
You have to change the example name of "Berlin" to what ever name you want to use and also change the co-ordinates of both Latitude and Longitude based on the centre of your cultivation area that you have made.
Regards, Michael.
I do miss the multi-player that was available in FSX it was great fun flying with friends.........................................
Sorry to trouble you Nick, how are you getting on implementing ArcGIS into your AeroScenery please?
Thank you in advance.
Kindest Regards,
Michael.
