Is it not also supported with macOS? Anyway, it works great for me on the Mac.
Officially it is not supported, but works...

So I had an issue where I couldn't get the throttle lower than 20 % on my throttle quadrant, it wanted me to use the full range of the axis, that includes the beta range. So I went along trying to calibrate it, to no avail, the calibration menu exits as soon as I hit a detent.. then I tried to remove all axis and key assignments and try to calibrate again, again it exits the calibration menu. Is there some trick I need to do to make it work correctly ?
The position iddle is not the position zero with this quadrant.
The range starts from full reverse position.
The problem in your side probably is because you are trying to use in on Linux since the product is not officially supported with another OS than Windows. -
Ah, thats why its that way the sound. Easy fix after work tonight.
As far as the stick is concerned....
I was getting tired of the logitech pentiometers in the 3D Pro stick being a bit jumpy. The 3D printed ball mod was an excellent upgrade for it, but I was craving something more smooth, and this *new* airbus stick fits the bill for me. I had one before (the PC only version), but sold it with the complete captains setup I had including the TM headset and rudder pedals. Cant stand having my feet locked onto those rudder pedals, I prefer twist rudder on a stick. Personal preference.
Update: Sound fixed. Simple mouse click in the drop down sound menu.
Thank you sir for the advice
Welcome!

I love to fly the Aerofly 744.
Only points I would suggest are the sounds and external textures. -
At this moment AF FS 4 is my preferred too. Nothing works properly in the "other side of the force".

Just suggesting. On MSFS you will not have it working properly without the manufacturer driver.
Some joysticks can have a better behavior on axis and smaller dead zones. In case of the TCA quadrant (which is not your case I know), this improves the synchronisation of the two throttle levers and only with the driver instaled you can have the virtual buttons working. If I remember, it is necessary on AF FS 4 as well (for the quadrant).
If you have any malfunction playing another game, first thing the device support will ask you is to install the driver.
But, of course, If it is working fine for you on AF FS 4 and you only fly on AF, perfect! -
Check the throttle mapping inside AF FS 4 control settings.
Maybe you have two devices assigned to control the same action, the throttle in this case. I would suggest you to delete the assigned controls to the throttle and redo it. -
It depends.
On MSFS it is always a good idea to have the updated drivers installed from the Thrustmaster support website.
On AF FS 4, the simulator can apply the default settings even using the Microsoft Windows drivers.
Particularly, I thing it is a good idea to install the Thrustmaster driver, why not? It is so simple to do. -
You dont need to plug the speakers to the sidestick necessarily.
It happens because when you plug the joystick for the first time your PC will automatically change the "sound card" in use to the TCA device.
You just need to change back the sound card in use to the card you were using before plugging the joystick.
So you can plug for example your prefered wired headset to the joystick. When you would like to have the sound from the speakers (connected to the PC port), just select the proper PC card to have it in the sound icon close to the Windows clock. And when you want to use the headset plugged to the joystick, just select TCA as sound card.
On MSFS you can use the TCA sound card only for the ATC sounds.Talking about the joystick itself, its better than the old only PC compatible model, since now the rudder axis uses a sensor instead of the old model potentiometer.

Hello Jan,
Thank you once again for your attention.
Were you able to replicate the bug? Do not hesitate to ask me if you need some video.
Thank you! -
I will send some help ASAP. We will reach this amount and pass
-
I know this is not as simple as it sounds, but it would be great if you made some trijets classic airliners, like the DC-10 or MD-11, Boeing 727 or a L1011 Tristar.

Is it only on the A320 or all aircraft?
I don't know if all, but usually I fly the 747 and 777 and have noted it.
After some clicks in the altitude selector on AP it comes back for example, same for the landing lights.
Seems to me something related to the sound load.
If I do the entire flight without replay or exit (esc) everything is fine.

Hello guys,
I have a bug with the Aerofly FS 4 sound effects. BTW I have it since the AF FS 2 using different PCs and soundcards.
When I start the flight, everything is fine with the sound effects. But, if I move the aircraft using the map to practice an approach for example, I've noted that some cockpit sounds are losted, as it was not loaded.
It also happens in the replay. For example, after perform a RNAV approach with the Airbus A320, the AP off sound works, but not on replay.
If I load another aircraft and then come back to previous plane, the sound effects will be load again.
Is there a metter of sound configurations on Windows?
Talking about sound effects, would be nice if we could have some cockpit sound effects simulating the noises of internal parts shaking during take-off and landing runs.
Thank you very much! -
OMG! THANK YOU IPACS, I love you guys!
BTW, I will send my game review on Steam in the next few hours. -
Have you tried to edit the main.mcf file?
