Ty, Jan!
I'm already happy with the current aircraft offer and I prefer other features too.

I noticed that the mobile version has the Airbus A380. Would it be very difficult to port it to the PC?
I believe that the community would be very happy with this. -
Yes, navigation will put you where you shouldn't, but the pilot can avoid the accident, as well as use a chart and check what's around. I also don't like the new system, there are a lot of bugs, but nothing that really makes me have an accident, especially in the case of an aircraft with a GPWS system.

I have been flying with the A320, and despite the problems related to vertical navigation, it is nothing that makes me crash the aircraft, far from it.
I think you are doing something very wrong with the operation. Post a video.

Je prévois de m'installer en France, Brest, Nantes ou Vannes prochainement. J'ai besoin d'améliorer mon français. Je t'enverrai quelque chose dans la inbox. 😉

The NAV mode in the B58 follows the CDI needle. You have to tune a VOR to be able to use it, it doesn't have a GPS on board that would allow you to follow the flight plan. That is identical to before the update.
It's the same think for C172? There is a NAV/GPS button in it's panel...

cristianodesa Hello , I have several questions regarding various issues with navigation behavior with Aerofly FS2. Do you agree to exchange with me your experience and thought ?
For example, speaking about the Cessna 172SP, I noticed that it was impossible to adjust the Altitude on the AP. It is stuck at 5000f, only VS is functional. And NAV is also not working.Do you have the same comment ?
Thank you for your answer?

Hi Babar,
I was able to change the altitude normally on autopilot. Did you use the rotary knob for the selection?
However, I was also unable to make the autopilot follow the navigation inserted in the flight plan (Navigation screen). -
Já estamos trabalhando em consertos nos bastidores e queremos apresentá-los o mais rápido possível.
I cant' wait!!!! Yeessssss!

Ty for your suggestion, Babar66. I reset the Main file and remade the flight. Horizontal navigation went well. I'm not sure if it was due to the suggestion, as I believe I already reset the file a few times when I was testing Vulkan here. Thank you anyway.
Unfortunately, vertical navigation is still strange. The suggested level was FL190 and the TOC appeared 92nm for the destination. And when I select a higher level, it seems to me that the simulator establishes a climb restriction.
Let's wait because Jan and iPacs are definitely reviewing this. -
Some laptops do not work at full power without plugging in.

I will try to restore the files in the Steam and test again. Ty Jan!

Hi Aeroflyers and iPacs team,
Today I tried a simple flight between Fresno and Monterey, but the a320 has behaved strangely with navigation and autopilot. It is frustrating because we have the ability to start Cold and Dark now, the performance with Vulkan is perfect, but on the other hand it is a little annoying and confusing to operate the current navigation engine.I believe that it would be interesting for Aerofly FS 2 to resume the previous navigation mode (that despite not having some features, it worked without bugs), and keep the other new features that are working well (cold and dark, the new helicopter, the 777 ECAM pages...). Even with great new features, a bugged feature so important can move away new users and make the experience frustrating.
After the new navigation system works correctly, then make it available. I don't want to looks like a complainer, it's just a point of view.
So, it's my report:
Just after takeoff, the aircraft struggled to maintain NAV mode when the first turn ended. I had to cross the rote using HDG mode after three attempts to catch the NAV mode.
I selected the FL200 but I was confused about the indications of TOC and TOD in the ND. The message DESACELERATE appeared during the climb, and far from TOD. -
Just a little recommendation... Do not make the same mistake as I did! Two years ago I bought the Acer Nitro 5 for 1000$. It’s not much but the thing is that it’s stuttering like I smashed it. I’m saving up for a gaming desktop since the acer nitro 5 sucks. I’m aiming at getting the 2070 Super paired with a AMD Ryzen 7 and 16gb ram.
I want to be 100% sure that I can run Aerofly FS2020 smoothly without any problems like my Acer nitro 5 that the CPU goes down to 9% which gets my fps drop to 17.
I really hope the new computer I’m saving up to is worth it. (Half way there)
I believe your problem is purely heating. I had this problem with my laptop as well (which is much simpler then yours) when playing The Witcher 3. I invested better and realized that the processor reduced its frequency when it reached 90ºC. So I put a better thermal paste and my problems are over (Noctua NT-H2).

Do you have CTDs when using Vulkan?
-
Are you considering take-off and landing weight?
An empty 777 flies like a fighter! -
Fact.
I run on an Acer A515 notebook with AMD A12 APU and an RX540. I've been able to run well. But it bothers me a little that the movement is not very fluid even with good frames (35-45).
With Vulkan it is excellent, very fluid, but I have no stability. Almost all flights take place on a CTD. I think my "record" was 3 flights in a row without CTD using Vulkan.
It seems to me to be something related textures or constructions, but it is difficult to know for sure what causes these CTDs here.
