Has anyone else lost the "S" and "W" forward and back motion keys in aircraft lock mode??
Mine works in free roaming mode only at present.
Just checked. If you are referring to pressing "L" button in dev cam, then yes pressing W and S does not work. Only in free roam. However I wasn't aware it worked before.

Have you flown AF2 in VR yet? It's become my latest obsession the past few months. Welcome aboard friend!

From what I hear, light leak issue is rare case for odd shaped head people. You still have access to SteamVR interface. Once pimax delivers, you can easily sell odyssey and make your money back no problem if you picked one up for $300. I managed to get one for $300 and once I get my 5K+ I will be selling Odyssey+ for at least $350. It's a win win. Not sure about Oculus part.

I have the same workflow however, my area has zero building data so I have to map out buildings before your step 4. As for the separate light spots, I just make a random short "Key - Highway/ Value - Residental" in JOSM. I find placing very few with a lower height and brightness value helps fill the voids between cities/towns. Thank you for your reply. I'm glad to hear your opinion on the matter.

Not sure how this will be perceived. First of all I want to say that if you contribute, plan to, you are awesome and I thank you for your efforts. Greatly appreciated. It's wonderful to have a community help and contribute autogen for everyone to simply download and install. Now i'm not the biggest fan of having streetlights all over areas that they would not be. This would require some touch up work but I feel it would benefit everyone. Also using the updated lighting script would help make lights look alot better. My two cents..
Examples. Old Script and Not Edited
Example: Updated Script and Edited ( Random lights placed in rural area to mimic house lights)
In the end it's about time. Most of this cultivation business involves time and alot of it.

I have the regular Samsung Odyssey. The pixel density is higher than the Vive/Rift(wouldn't go back) which makes the screen door effect much smaller and allows for a better picture. The Samsung Odyssey+ has now eliminated screen door effect which I have heard people say this headset will be great for flight sim and racing. If you can grab one for $300 US, it's the ultimate deal and steal making this the best VR headset for flight sim at the moment compared to Pimax. I heard that because the Odyssey+ eliminates screen door effect, you lose just a touch of clarity. I find that to be a fair compromise. I will be purchasing one Nov. 18th because this deal is to good to pass up.

I completely agree Ray, it's been a great week for Flight-sim.org. Lots of extras added. I love this sim and just want to help out where I can. I've been putting in crazy hours cultivating my area (45ish mile radius). Can't wait to experience all that hard work while flying in the R22!
Any chance you could revisit the 3d Warehouse and search for a few more models. Here is a composite sheet from a google search. I realize many are very similar and also similar to some of those that you have already provided but, they are also different enough to be different.
Any additional ones would be greatly appreciated.
I can and will definitely do that. It has been very time consuming. I will need some time as I want to finish my personal project. Also anyone else who is actually really good with 3d models, feel free to go and tackle some water towers

If anyone is interested, I have converted/re textured some radio/water towers from 3d Warehouse. 3D Models: Basic Communication/Water Towers/(etc.)

This is assuming you will redo the scenProc cultivation process and create a new TOC file. Otherwise there is no (on the fly) tree height adjustment.

After watching and reading many videos and disscussions, I pre-ordered 5k+. Best headset on the market for price. Not looking forward to buying the lighthouses but they will benefit for other VR games.

I believe you are looking for this Blender-OSM I personally have not used it yet.

Yes! This was exactly what I was looking for! The script in fact did work. Everything you say is pretty accurate. I did get alot of houses to show up but clearly the filter settings need to be dialed in for fine tuning. This process is most definitely for areas you are not familiar with . Thank you very much for all your insight on the topic!

This topic arises again in "Cultivation template file for scenProc." kenventions showed his scenProc indeed had no trouble detecting rooftops. Could it be achieved by swapping a few words from the script below?
Before hand in the detection process I assume houses would be "Polygon" however what would be an appropriate Histogram Filter setting for houses? A setting that would only place one building point inside Polygon rather than multiple points.Replace these boxes with?
Of course in second part of process this script would be replaced with "CreateAF2Building" etc.
Perhaps I didn't hear correctly the first time but I feel so hopeful that this could in fact be achieved. Thanks guys.

I think $500 would be an acceptable price point for what it claims to offer. I enjoy my Samsung having no light house tracking system. Pimax has set the new standard for next gen. Hopefully other companies can catch up quick with ppi and fov.

Does one go into each .png, and then hand-color the water before generating the .ttc files?
Do you stop the process before the .ttcs are made, or re-do the process partway through, etc?
Yes only click checkbox "Download Image Tiles" and "Stitch Image Tiles" in Aeroscenery, then after it finishes downloading go to your scenery location and edit the water from the "Stitched" .png Image files. Afterwards go back to Aeroscenery and uncheck "Download Image Tiles" and "Stitch Image Tiles". Now click and check "Generate AID/TMC Files" and "Run GeoConvert." -Guy from Wisconsin

The limitation is that the new houses don't occupy the footprint of the houses in the textures, but you won't find them in the middle of roads, rivers, plant areas or any area with existing OSM recorded buildings.
Great find! That would save so much time, I could live with that! (Just need more natural rooftop textures to go with that)

Hey guys, here are a few basic water towers to use. Link- Water Towers
Much appreciated traffic/road/tower light script work! kenventions
