Update: X-plane 11, World2XP, Ortho4XP, Aosta Airport, medium graphic setting

Lets hear some FPS on AF2 with Medium graphic settings.

So....
I ordered the 8k, but after watching that video, I'm thinking of changing to the 5k.
What do you guys think?
I would go with the 5k for Aerofly. 8k for adult video scientific purposes.
I did this when VR first made its appearance a few years ago. If you are talking the Samsung Gear VR, there is no official mobile VR support for AF2 however there are ways to "Play any game in VR." Which can come with performance issues, controller issues. Enough to sometimes not make it worth all the effort. My two cent would be not to bother. If you want a great VR experience with AF2, make the PC leap forward.
Wow that is some great looking everything! Some serious runway texture work if I do say so.
Be sure to check out the dinosaurs - tell 'em Large Marge sent you.
I see what you did there!
I've never seen so many golf courses in my life! Shout out to the moving Chevy Tahoe!
I redid some areas with your light template. I certainly like your settings versus my old one. The traffic lights are a great new touch! Thanks!
Sweviver just did a great flight gauge comparison
It’ll be interesting but I think the RTX 2080ti will push the 8K past the limitations of the 5K+
Sweviver also suggested the 8K for flight simming.
I think Sweviver meant 8K for the vibrance of colors and less screen door effect. On the other hand Sebastian from MRTV stated that the 5K has better clarity for reading, which I think would be very necessary for reading the flight panel. We still need an exclusive Aerofly FS2 Pimax hands on review video!

You guys got me excited for Hawaii, I've spent over 6 hours photo editing out clouds, different ortho colors, blending water. Almost done! I used Aeroscenery Google zoom level 17 at 9-14
Looks like 5K Plus is the better of the two!
Hey thanks crispy136! Personally my first time trying a script for populated city. Worked very well! (Note: I had to use the Development release of scenProc.) Perhaps my other scenProc was outdated.
i can't bear the tension. Did it arrive?
I'm sorry but this made me laugh out loud! Also wondering the same.
Great video! Some of those guys say 200 degree FOV on Pimax 8K is still questionable with distortion and 170 degrees is the sweet spot. I could live with that Just because screen door is practically non noticeable on Pimax, I still question if its enough to fully read the cockpit dashboard in VR (Need that in-game VR zoom!). I hope that other brands make their next gen VR to the standards of Pimax. It's what is drastically needed. Looking forward to hear what Pimax backers have to say about FS2!

- Automatic image processing of stitched images (brightness / saturation)
- USGS imagery download
- Worldwide high-resolution elevation data download (from USGS)
These 3 being the most important to me for what AeroScenery already is. As for the cultivation and coastline implementation, that's the Big Bang!
Thanks Nick!
that's how the OSM database grows, allowing users (including you) to later use in ScenProc the building shapes you patiently draw and uploaded to the server while loosing your mind...
Antoine you bring up a valid point, however with this comes a problem. I'm not truly doing OSM work, i'm more or less improvising my outlines of buildings for the sake of time and map making. Certain building shapes need to be edited so that scenProc can come in and detect them. I do not dare upload the work I do for most of it isn't fully accurate. Now if we had a Cultivation TOC file sharing database, I would gladly share everything i've done! Here's an example below.
Are you doing this in OSM ?
Cheers
Antoine
I use JOSM with the "Draw Buildings" plugin which automatically sets rectangles and squares to "Key=Building." Currently making my way up the mountains town by town west of Denver Colorado. I question my sanity on cultivating so many towns that don't have OSM data.
