yes you can. you have full visual use of your laptop. That is how you were able to sit in the back of the rear jet and look out the window while watching movies on the screen in front of you, while the autopilot does his thing.
I hope at least one of you guys out there try it and let me know
how they like it..

Hello,
I just wanted to start a small conversation and find out if any of you out there are aware of the ability to use a small Steam Application called OVR with AEROFLY FS4. I have the PIMAX 8KX and I use the PIMAX openXR tool kit with my 3090 and boy does it work fantastic. After tweaking the settings for a while and going into VR mode, I can now watch movies or work on my laptop or just about anything else you do with a computer while in VR flight. My frame rates are solid 60fpms after maxing out the Graphic settings. too. You can scroll the internet while in the cockpit or sit in the passenger back of the Learjet and attach the screen to the back of the Seat in front of me. I love to sit there and watch movies and look out the window very much the way I do in real life. It is was relaxing in a way. Some should try it for themselves. It's as if it adds a new dimension to flight simulation.

Hey All,
Look, I have been using Aerofly FS2020 in VR Mode for a couple of years now and it has always been the most stable, fun and easy to use. I have always been recommending Aerofly FS2020 to potential flightsimmers and I know I have brought to you at least two dozen new customers who use Aerofly FS2020 as opposed to all others. However, Over the past couple of months there has been nothing but issues running AEROFLY FS2020 IN VR Mode at all. I have been using the HP Reverb G2 for months and months with no issues but now I cannot get Steam VR to stop Crashing after attempting to open it in Steam VR Mode. After opening AeroFly, my attempt to switch to Vulkan are what lead to Steam VR Shutting down and sometimes Crashing Aerofly FS2020 all together taking me back to MS Mixed Reality Portal. Basically, Aerofly FS2020 will NOT stay in Vulkan mode. Sometimes, I was getting a "Stack Overflow" box after trying to switch in VR Mode.
And, all the while, I have been able to use all other Flight Sims in VR mode including MSFS2020 which now runs fantastically as there updates have worked wonders in smoothing out there VR Mode. I am having the exact opposite Experience with Aerofly FS2020.
I use the Alienware Graphics Amp with a Giga GTX 1070 with the below attached computer specs/info
Please Help
Thank you,
BOOMER

I would just like to express my sheer joy after reading through all of these updates. With that and MSFS2020 officially being available, It is gonna be a great Fall "2020" (Despite all other things). My question is though, will the copilot overlay be available in VR mode as opposed to only non-VR. I tried reading through the forum posts for an answer but, maybe I still missed it somewhere. Thanks, and I look forward to this update.

Thank you very kindly for the hook-up on Hawaii
FUBAR is good for me, It does not require me to think for a minute before putting it all together.

Sorry about my mistake's with Acronym's. After twelve years or so in the military, I have too many of them jumbled around in my head. FS2 it is... -
I look forward to Hawaii. I thought I did see Hawaii somewhere downloadable for Aerofly FS020. I forget which site though.

I use the pc version only. I have an interest more so in scenery development then aircraft. I have a little experience with FS Earth tiles but that is it. I have been spending days going over and learning your DK for scenery and will be giving it a shot with Alaska in the coming time.

I recommend he Alienware Graphics Amp. I installed only a Geforce 1070 into the amp and have had good results.

or delivering pizzas in Alaska. I would love an Alaska St scenery package for Aerofly FS2020
-
Or, how about I start with the Robin as I go through Your acft Workshop.
-
I love the Spitfire so maybe that could be the seconded aircraft I hone my skills on
-
I never liked flying tail draggers both in the real and simulation worlds so I would go with a Cessna 172

round dials in that case and redactable L/G
