Well, its not this simple - Switzerland in MSFS2020 is no better. Mixed fall, summer and winter textures. The downloaded textures using Aeroscenery from Swiss Geoportal are more consistant than anything else,. but have a watermark. I can life with this, better than snowy textures in summer

The textures are not the primary issue. The cultivation is. If I recall right my memory, anything above Bodo is flat. No houses, no trees, no airports

I noticed the same. Since the last update, custom textures are not always being loaded correctly while flying. I reported this earlier. I moved the custom images from the user folder to the sim main scenery folder. For Switzerland it appears that this did the trick.

Fascinating to read that you have stutters in Fs4. I am running VR at full res and I have no stutter at all. Yesterday I've flown from Wangen Lachen to Mollis. I am able to read all instruments crispy clear, I have a fluid flying experience and on top of this the whole thing loads extremely quick. I did exactly the same flight in the other sim and this one has no clear instruments, stutters and jitters while I move my head. Considering that it was developed from my Reverb G2 in conjunction with HP, this is a nightmare. So no, FS4 for me is working as designed.

What I noticed, is that in the last beta, the custom ground textures don't load all any longer while flying. Some load others not. It loads in patches. Not sure why.
