Great news that the CDU is going to be updated soon! I love using the real instruments in the cockpit. Is this going to push for the mobile version of the 777 as well? Thanks.

Wow ... will have to check this out!

Hi - I just was looking at the US map for Aerofly2020 and noticed that there are VOR fixes across the entire continent. Does this mean that I can fly beyond the hi-Rez area? Thanks!
-
I’m hoping some day we can update the Nav maps so that we can track routes with STARs and SIDS ... that would be like a dream come true!
-
Can’t wait to try this tomorrow!!
-
Wow!! Awesome ... can’t wait to see it. I’ve just finally purchased and am downloading FS2020 ... can’t wait to get stuck in properly

Hi! Any chance someone smarter than me could please put together a tutorial for the MCDU and autopilot for the 777? Similar to the excellent A320 one already done. Thanks so much.
-
Sorry thanks I should’ve made clear I was talking about the mobile version.
-
Hi everyone - In the sim, how do you decide sunrise/sunset times? I’m assuming they are constant since I don’t see any way to
Change the date. Thanks.
-
Definitely - to reiterate I would happily pay for IAP of regions!
-
Thanks everyone! I’m planning to upgrade from Aerofly2019 to Aerofly2020 this weekend. Is the nav database updated as well as the areas expanded?
-
Apologies I wrote the wrong acronym ... learning this stuff slowly! I will go online and look up Some tutorials for ADF flying ... I managed some VOR navigation today for the first time 😀😀
-
Ha ha not a bad pun at all.
Can I ask a related question - does the ADF receiver in the Cessna work for navigating with DNBs?
Also - can I just add I’m a newcomer to this sim but have the greatest respect for the moderators and users here who participate so actively and answer questions so quickly. I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you!

Great! Thanks so much. Lots of studying to do.
-
Hi everyone - does the Cessna 172 cockpit include working VOR navigation? Thanks!!
-
Thanks (as always) for the quick response! What I did was try to follow the Aerofly 2 wiki guidance for entering a Sacramento to San Francisco flight but couldn’t manage to. I will try again since you say that the MCDU is operational. You are right by the way that the MCDU is what I meant when I asked if it worked. Thank you.

Does the FMC in the A320 work? I noticed today it was tracking my flight plan but I can’t seem to enter a new one into it. Thanks!
-
I would definitely pay for more regions. Best of course if they were connected like the new way to do KLAX-Salt Lake/Denver etc. But absolutely, there’s no sub model here so I would look to buy add ins as they came out.

Thanks. And is there somewhere that teaches you the order of things to do in an interactive cockpit like from startup? I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos for other sims that show the order but not sure how much applies to the FS cockpits (am hopeful
It’s almost all of it). I hope my explanation makes sense about what I’m looking for?
EDIT - I just found the Wiki pages for FS2 where it takes you through an Airbus flight I think this may be the thing I was looking for!! -
Hi - I’ve got the FS 2019 version which I love. Before I upgrade is there a tutorial or guide to how to use the interactive cockpits? Ideally I would love to reach the point where in certain of the airframes I can basically do the full flight from start to finish ie from turning on and powering up to shutting down at the gate, including nav and guidance all within the interactive cockpit. But being a bit of an idiot I can’t find anything online to guide me through how to do this. Thanks.
