there are still people who want to fly off line
I'm the one of them or maybe multiplayer inside DLC's areas for the quality.

I'm the one of them or maybe multiplayer inside DLC's areas for the quality.
I had reported it when I was using the beta.
Gossip: it could be linked to a future multiplayer mode???
Ich würde mir auch mal wünschen das wie in Dubai, der hässliche matschige untergrund verschwindet.
Me too. However, DLCs allow me not to depend of an internet link! Even though I understand that I will never download the entire world!
Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
I see that Dubai is now available in Aerofly FS 4. But if I want building etc. it seems I need to activate streaming.
In the future, will classic DLCs still exist? For example a Dubai Region DLC?
And also, you cannot activate Streaming out from Steam (if you launch Aerofly without Steam).

Aerofly FS 4 Version 4.03.01.18 (20230926)
Each time I use the A320, it maintains 250 KTS inside the SID above 10000 FT. It's not a question of constraint.
Regards.
I think that global in Aerofly FS 4 is a prelude of multiplayers. Another prelude is the online tool of airport creating.
And remember (I don't have the time to dig it out), one of the admins said one day a long time ago that AI Traffic has been built to use any other source of traffic.
In other words, I don't believe we'll have multiplayers without a viable global solution.
Many things point the direction of multiplayer: global, online airport tool, AI traffic free of sources.
I installed AFS4 on steam a day after streaming was announces (Sep 23rd I think). Then, yesterday, I got another beta update, it was around 100mb if I'm not mistaken.
I got it too. I hadn’t noticed it because there was no information in the Steam RSS.

Yes, it works perfectly, I used it to convert Mykonos from FS2 to FS4 today and will publish it later.
Thank you very much. I see you didn't fear to encounter an incompatibility between Sonoma and Aerofly FS 4.
So changelog for the yesterday's update?
What yesterday update? The last one was September the 22rd, wasn't it?
Dear ApfelFlieger
Do you know if Aerofly FS 4 works fine with the latest yesterday macOS Sonoma?
Thanks
Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
A380 beta September the 22rd.
In the PERF TAKEOFF page you can set throttle reduction altitude and acceleration altitude. Both by default set at 1000 FT AGL translated in FT MSL. You can change acceleration altitude by adding 2000 FT for example. At takeoff it works OK.
The weird behavior comes when you take off from a higher airport than sea level. For example Las Vegas at 2000 FT. But at Las Vegas the THR RED is 1600 FT by default and you can add 2000 FT to ACCEL which becomes 3600 FT.
If you take off like that the throttle reduction will happen at +1000 FT AGL as expected (so at 3000 FT MSL set at 1600 FT by default) and acceleration will start at +3000 FT AGL as expected (so 5000 FT MSL set at 3600 FT)!
Have a good night, don't have nightmares.
Best regards
Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
I had a glance at the streaming version.
It looks like that only the same airports in the DLCs have STAR, SID, place to spawn in Cold&Dark, doesn't it?
Thanks
Do you have a video where I can see this happening in the real aircraft?
The A320 does not show the selected altitude as long as it is in the ALT CST or ALT CST* mode and instead only shows the constraint altitude above or below the tape when it is off-scale. When the altitude is within the visible range of the altitude tape the fixed readout is replaced by the moving altitude bug. So far the A380 matches that exact same behavior. But if you find any video of the real behavior I am happy to change it.
I might have dreamt it.
Is that me, or the moon can now be a croissant?

A380 (Air France)
My wife's brother has just passed by home. Whatever, he was an A380 pilot at Air France.
I asked him about the flight level of the A380 that Aerofly tends to impose. He said that 43000 FT is far too much. He said A380 > FL380 and at the end of the flight you can climb at FL410 NOT MORE. You can reach directly FL380. The climb is fast like it happens in Aerofly.
Time Skip brings the plane at FL430 whatever your chosen cruise level (in an unstable situation with long hauls PARIS/MIAMI). Like with A320, it sets FL CRZ at FL440 but stays at FL430 for the A380, and FL400 for the A320 and stays at FL390. For the both planes the max flight level will set whatever the initial chosen flight level (for example, I can't fly a CDG/MIA at FL300 if I use Time Skip).
At an altitude constraint, the A380 PFD does no longer show the targeted flight level above the altitude band (see the attachment). But, the climb will start again after the constraint as expected.
Best regards
