Bro .. Could you upload a video of aerofly showing what I blamed you .. Please .. I want to know what it is .. I know aerofly is fantastic could you upload a video bro

    I'll make a video later.

The aim is to have SPD set just after the takeoff phase (even if you keep TOGA/FLEX takeoff power ;)).

You also have to know that the Airbus will adjust its speed by adjusting the slope.

So setting 185 kts just after takeoff will make the airbus climb faster.

To adjust the speed just after takeoff, go to the MCDU, button PERF, phase CLB. Enter 185 in PRESEL.

You can also enter the O speed (194 kts MCDU/PERF/TAKEOFF/O) (they did that at LAX if you takeoff toward east and turn to west for departure).

If 185 kts, keeps CONF 1+F while the initial turn (security, because very near to -S speed).

And the fun is to keep FLEX or TOGA power longer if you like to hear the power sound of the Airbus at takeoff. Just for fun. At that power the plane will climb quite hardly to maintain 185 kts.

To terminate the "185 kts phase", push the SPD button to set managed SPD (250 kts under 10000 ft / 300 kts above).

Next : ther's a PRESEL field in the CRZ page. Not often used but in the sim you can set 320 kts to go faster at cruise than it is serious!

    Talking about update, my hopes:

    A320

    • Callouts: 100 above, minimum, retard retard. Also V1 and 5
    • MCDU: respect of the custom altitude constraints in F-PLN
    • Engines sound: a bit more hissing would the absolute perfection
    • Mach speed in the PFD under the IAS speed indicator should appear at M0.50 and disappear at M0.45
    • Cabin press: set to AUTO by default
    • QNH should be in inHg in the USA, like it is automatically done for altitude transition in function of the region
    • Cold and dark, but the flight plan is still preset in

    Aerofly

    • Flight plan: the possibility to get rid off of the imposed 10 Nm waypoint facing the runway
    • The sound level of the application is actually low
    • Flight plan route curves a bit less curved

    User interface

    • Option to not display the “expedite the plane higher” button
    • Option to not display the copilot button
    • Calibrate device automatically when autopilot is set off. Or the double tap on screen could also calibrate the device plus centering the view
    • Using the rudder slider may trigger multitasks on iPad and on Face ID iPhone by error, causing the lost of the controls. Because rudder slider is settled in the bottom bar area that controls multitasking. The controls can be set upper or the preferredScreenEdgesDeferringSystemGestures API property can be enabled
    • “Night vision on/off” button to compensate the missing illumination of the runway and the taxiway

    Planes

    • Landing lights should illuminate the exterior
    • Generic ATC background sound in the cockpit
    • “Bling blang bling” sound inside the cockpit when rolling fast on the runway
    • “Blong” sound when the gear touches the runway
    • Buzzing cockpit view when rolling

Thousand thanks for what’s coming next...

    Hi Aeroflyer,

    Aerofly rocks, totally.

Well I watched this 360° cockpit view video about A320:

And I spotted at the SPD display in the FCU. After takeoff it displays - - -, as usual, and suddenly it displays 185 kts. WHAT? :/

So I asked my step-brother loving personal pilot support how to do it?

He told me, well it is at Geneva, so the pilot wanted to climb as fast as possible, so he set 185 in MCDU > PERF page > CLB phase > PRESEL = 185.

Guess what, it woks in Aerofly. Aren't they completely the best of the best?

He also told me that at 185 kts I have to keep CONF+1 while I'm in the initial departure curve (security). Then flaps up. And then push the SPD button to use managed speed.

    Just a little sharing...

    Take care.

At the arrival runway 15, Aerofly forces a waypoint at 10 Nm from the runway. I’m dreaming they get rid off of this point to create curves approaches closer than the last 10 Nm straight on. Would be useful at Palm Spring to avoid crash in mountains.
Append an aligned waypoint more father at 20 Nm about.
Add other waypoints until the curves are “unbubbled”. Glance at my attachment above.
    My site in French: http://a320afs2ios.wpweb.fr/

Adapted to Aerofly and validated by a pilot friend (all airbuses)

What I’ve already done. But it is hot because there a moment you pass by 300 ft from a mountain.
But no choice because there’s the 10 Nm imposed waypoint facing the runway.
    I calculate 3 Nm / 1000 ft. I target a descent to 6000 ft above terrain. 7800 ft + 6000 ft = 13800 ft.
So the plane will reach 13800 ft 3 Nm before final decent to the runway. At 18 Nm remains (3 Nm / 1000 ft - 6000 ft above ground = 18 Nm) I trigger a -3° FPA angle. The fact you trigger at 18.3 Nm.
Of course, before the final decent you have slowed down the plane, trigger approach mode, CONF 1, and locked the LOCALIZER (there’s no GLIDE SLOPE, it’s just a localizer).
At 2000 ft before ground you should have reached the imposed decent profil (the green dot in the altitude of the PDF).
Adjust your FPA angle by 0.5° to follow the green dot.
meanwhile you have set CONF FULL, gear down etc.
A bit before 1000 ft. Set FPA mode off to show the FD again. AP off.
At this follow the FD who will make you follow the LOCALIZER and the angle to the runway.
    Good luck.
