A320 T/D We still don’t have the arrow back.
Neither the PRED TO T/D value in the MCDU.
But the descent profile seems to be fixed![EDIT] descent profile is still discontinued

Can’t wait to fly this update to see how is my lovely A320.
Thanks IPACS

Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
At San Diego ILS09 approach, there’s an altitude constraint at 1950 ft for the runway threshold. I suppose this constraint has to be apply to GATTO waypoint.
iPad Pro v14.2 AFS2020 20.20.19.
Sorry if it is patched with 20.20.21 I’m just downloading by now.

Nope. I’m not running at 60fps like on my Iphone XR...
I have absolutely no idea how to get that smooth gameplay back. Any ideas to what I could turn off or on in Settings on my ipad?I noticed that with my iPhone XR or 12 Pro the definition is lower (blurry) than with the iPad Pro. Maybe that you have a high frame rate with iPhone but a low definition and lower frame rate with iPad but better definition!

The current iOS version of the EC135 helicopter uses quite a bit of CPU power, we will improve that in a future update.
Ah ok. This is why my “iPad A320” is getting hot after a few use.

Can’t wait to retrieve my lovely A320 at full capacities

Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
Whatever is your flight plan, all LOC approaches can’t be locked to the LOCALIZER. They are neither RNAV neither ILS in the ND. It’s blank.
Before the October update we would lock the localizer and apply a FPA in finale...

but it would not make sense to have a speed range when you're not using idle thrust
I’m not sure it’s a non sense.
With a car there’s a method called pulse and glide to have a very very very low consumption. You accelerate and you set neutral engine idle and let the car slowing down and again you accelerate... and so on.
Ok the other drivers won’t love you but it’s efficient. This is what the Prius does in some kind of ways without slowing down.

Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
I encountered a problem.
Suddenly the A320 did that (see the attachment). In red what it started to do, in yellow what I supposed it was aiming. Maybe a question of shorter distance in the red direction. I took control and land at Palm Springs anyway and saved all the passengers . Where the red starts a part of the flight plan disappeared in the ND.
iPad Pro 11-inch iOS 14.1 Aerofly FS 2020 October update. A320 all managed: 2900 ft target managed descent (constraint at 4000), managed speed (constraint at 210).
-
It’s not a problem. I was used to have this range all the way down in the previous version.
However, I believe that under 10000 ft the range disappears. Sometimes we also have 255/230 kts range and sometimes 250 kts.
Thanks for the answer

Hi.
Sometimes we lost the limits speed min max in descent mode (all managed).
It may be normal or not!?
-
The A320 FADECs currently keep the thrust at a constant level which requires higher engine rotation speeds as you climb. Because power is defined as thrust times speed if you keep your speed constant you do not get more power when climbing.
Confirmed!
(I asked my 23 years Airbus pilot friend)
You and Aerofly completely rocks. Definitely. Wow
Every tips and tricks that my friend gave me, worked. Always worked. You did an amazing work. I stop boots-licking here!

Ok. Thank you. I let you think about the “auto” “cheat” flex. Long runways like at SFO support easily a 67° FLEX!
When I double-click the FLEX TO TEMP button in the MCDU, it enters the corresponding FLEX value in function of the selected runway, altitude, weight, flaps, etc, instead of the default 48°
-
Ok. Cool (that it’s taken care of)
-
The A320-214 is not supposed to increase its power when climbing.
But the A380 yes.
By the way, it would be so cool to have an easy FLEX calculator: When I double-click the FLEX TO TEMP button in the MCDU, it enters the corresponding FLEX value in function of the selected runway, altitude, weight, flaps, etc, instead of the default 48°. (Idem with flaps, because you are not suppose to perform a FLEX takeoff in CONF 1+F under 2000m)

When descending the green dot, in PFD altitude strap, that represent the descent profile encounters discontinuities.
I'm talking of the V/DEV green dot aka yoyo when descending (DES mode managed).
To demonstrate the problem set a flight plan to KRNO (Reno/Tahoe) with R34LZ approach. The plane will reach the 13000 ft constraint and suddenly, at the constraint waypoint, the green dot will disappear down for the next 11000 ft constraint. There's a discontinuity that should not happen. It also happens with the lower constraints coming after...

Well, I passed the wrong TOD shown in the ND and when it got close to 45 nm, to my surprise PFD showed the DESACELERATE and I commanded the descent through the AP vertical navigation mode. The aircraft followed the descent perfectly.
This is working at the only condition you have guessed the good cruise altitude that the simulator has got in its mind.
DECELERATE could appear far before the calculated T/D, then vanish. And it is displayed again near the calculated T/D.
I did that way too until an update comes saving my life . I also hope that the update would autofill or double-click-fill the FL CRZ in the MCDU by the value in mind (this is for Jet-Pack (IPACS) , thank you).
This tip will completely fail for a Denver/Aspen without SID or STAR or APPR, no waypoints between. The plane will dive into the mountains .

Hi.
This is the same on iPad but at Oakland KOAK runway 12-30 that is displayed 11-29 in the flight planner.
It must be a question of rounded angles.
Regards.

Why not to aerofly fs Mobile like how x plane renamed to mobile from x plane 10?
Yes or no.
They could also get rid off of the 2020 that makes confusion with MS FS 2020.
Or change the version to be more powerful with recent iOS devices. Forgetting older devices. They should be able to display sharpness, more clouds, more buildings etc. My brand new iPhone 12 is waiting for this... my iPad Pro already have better resolution cockpits than the iPhone...
