Use every simulator for it's good points, I have five different sims installed on my PC...
Maybe Aerofly is not the best sim to fly a bus around the world without ATC etc. but we have the best simulated heli with the R22 and a Lynx and some planes with cold and dark mode.
Flying in VR with 90 fps in a heli is the best there is, no other sim comes close to this so for my preferences this is the number one simulator...
We are talking about a 60 euro piece of software. Hardware, even a good joystick will cost you more!
I am happy with what we have now and it can only get better...
Each his own.....

You will have to contact Steam support if a refund is possible....

remember to fix the glide ratio on all those models please!! They all fall steeper than on a the real aircraft.
greetings
Mario
That question (and other questions in this thread) would be one to ask Just Flight......IPACS does not make these plane models.
-
Advice is easy...I spend more time in my sim rig then I walk in the woods, and I can use some exercise.
But..I like the sound of that. 2020 will be a great year for Aerofly FS2.
I got he feeling IPACS has some goodies in the pipeline this year too, we'll see....

Well... A good nap is priceless...
Watching a video 'just' for the colors of the scenery, that's dedication!

Hi all,
I hope the team members will use more of their free time to do things with friends and family after the first release.
There is more in life then flight simulators....(Is there?)
You all have brought us these first two islands to enjoy for a long time, I can wait a little longer for more quality like this!
-
Did you try to run in low settings and/or the batchfile for boats/animations on 0% or 25%?

A more detailed scenery needs more VRAM to load...
I have a 3GB GTX1060 and I can't fly over Amsterdam or Paris, these scenery have lots of detail and buildings everywhere.
Other scenery work fine for me though with Hawaii and Innsbruck I have to lower my quality settings.
-
I'm afraid your videocard with 2GB VRAM is the problem, for detailed scenery it's best to have a videocard with 4GB VRAM or more.....
You can upload your tm.log by choosing attachments in the reply box. -
May 15th: "We will do our best to be more transparent while we begin to release update hints and facts of what's to come in the coming weeks."
I guess we will have a blog update soon....

The three folders should be in your scenery folder, see:
https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…s-kauai-niihau/
Do not use that Hawaiian Islands folder.....

Are you running Aerofly on your mobile phone?
This part of the forum is about the PC version of Aerofly...
-
Very impressed so far....especially the texture quality, details, that water, those trees and bushes everywhere, the shorelines....Very immersive in VR!
I am running a low spec system (see below) with only 3 GB VRAM.
Textures, mesh and image in Ultra, shadows Medium and buildings and trees in High quality. Boats/animations at 50%.
Smooth VR experience, even around Barking Sands, at Lihue airport I need to set building density at medium quality though.
Very well done team!!!
