I use it to move around while starting up that beautiful Lynx, makes it a lot easier in VR.

Orbx scenery with a discount now we have to spend more time at home...
Aerofly FS2 scenery are priced between 13 and 22 euro !
-
The 'enlightened' one has a way with words, now the itch is even growing stronger...
Can't wait to hop around in the R22 for close looks or get into Larry's Lynx for a fast flight around the archipel!

Looking through all those beautiful images again....
Freeware? Well, if the team does not care for any donations, my money goes to flight-sim.org, will be a BIG file to host.
Close to Orbx quality, and seems to be bigger then all Orbx scenery together. Respect!

This sounds good. I wish you well and hope you get it up in the air and flying so you can spend the 5 minutes admiring your accomplishment so you can move on to the one I am most interested in flying - The Tilt Rotor. 😑😯😬🤨🙃
No pressure.....:-)
The bulky heli is looking good on the runway in Chicago here at home!
A tiltrotor would be awesome. Next year the Chinook?
Hawaii Revisited . Coming soon.
Soon...
Really soon????
No pressure...

Great! I am sure it will be worth the wait.....
For now we will enjoy your beaitiful Lynx..

Thanks for making the effort to look into it, when I remove the Nimitz add on out of it's folder I can load the two nearest by airports without a problem.
With the add on in place I get a crash every time I start the simulation...
Take your time...Lots of other places to hop around for now.
Regards, Peter

In the meantime I switched tothe AFS2 beta without succes, found the wiki and that TM file, lots to learn...
Yes I have downloaded both files and have the helipads on my map...
I have attached the tm.log

The Nimitz fleet folder is in C:\Users\Peter\Documents\Aerofly FS 2\scenery\places
Downloaded, unzipped twice, helipads show up on the map but everytime I try to start the simulation Aerofly crashes....
Flying from LA to the Nimitz fleet area results in a crash too when I get closer.
Don't know what is going on, problem with current version of Aerofly FS 2 ?
Maybe someone is willing to check this location?

Should be a fun location to hop around in the R22...
Best regards, Peter

This is impressive teamwork, never thought anything like this would see the light of day...
Thanks to anyone putting so much time and effort in it, can't wait!

I'm a complete noob in programming, so I'll take my hat off for the three of you...
Love those animated planes in Chicago and Florida and was hoping for something like that in Innsbruck.
Will wait patiently for more great additions. Together with Larry's Lynx it has been a great year so far for Aerofly FS2.
I really appreciate all the free time spend to give us these great add-ons!

It is great to see three people adding animated traffic here and there in 'our world'. Many thanks for the effort, it's very enjoyable!
Can we hope for an animated plane (or heli!) at LOWI Innsbruck?
-
Many thanks from Holland for this great heli. It is so good to have two great helicopters to fly now with good flight dynamics!
Love that Hawaiian livery too, waiting for Oahu.....
-
It takes a lot of hours learning to hover or auto rotate correctly.
In my opinion the R22 is one of the most realistic heli's simulating autorotation you can find in all of the sims we can choose from...
I like flying heli in Xplane 11 too but those are just a bit too easy, less realistic.

You can build a 'simpit' with as much room possible for movement with the motion controllers but there will always be places hard to reach in VR. In that case I use the mouse in VR....
