IPACS sent us a small batch with a few new screenshots of the Blackhawk and we can now take a better look at the interior.

I just read on helisimmer.com we can expect a new helicopter this year for FS 4? Did not see any news on that on the forums here...
'IPACS also indicated we will have a new helicopter in 2022! The company hasn't indicated which model we are getting, but they seem to be very excited about the new model and promise to say something as soon as possible.'
I am still using FS 2 a lot because of Steve's Lynx and Apache which probably will never see a FS 4 release so a third or even more helicopters for FS 4 will be highly appreciated!
Try verifying your game files in Steam.

Two months is pretty quick for a MaxFlight Stick order...
The Reverb G2 is a good headset for flightsims and Aerofly will run fine with that 3070Ti, have fun!
Well said....
Any change we will see the Lynx back for FS4 again?
You can move your body around a little in the VR cockpit using the move commands in settings/view.....
In AFS2: settings>controls>view>move or AFS4: controls>general>view>move you can assign buttons to move your body around in the VR cockpit.
Works great for me....
The Quest 2 is a standalone Android based VR headset that can be used for PCVR, you will need the hand controllers to operate the Quest menu's in the headset and make a connection for PCVR.
Only PCVR headsets like the HP Reverb etc. can be used without controllers for Aerofly.
With my low spec PC (see below) I don't see any difference running Aerofly FS 2 in SteamVR wireless with AirLink (or Virtual Desktop) compared to using the USB cable as a connection to the PC....
If it's only for training with the R22 then Aerofly FS 2 can be used with a lower spec graphics card.
90% of the scenery is stutterfree for me with only a GTX1660 Super (6GB VRAM), which is about 25% 'slower' then a RTX3050.
This is with a Quest 2, the HP Reverb's higher resolution needs more 'graphics power'.
Aerofly FS 2 with a RTX3050 (8GB VRAM) and Quest 2 will run fine...
They 'can be used' as virtual hands as an option. But you also need them to operate the Quest menu's at startup etc...
All you need is the headset and the two controllers (which can be used as virtual hands in Aeofly).
If you are on a budget a RTX 3050 and Quest 2 will be fine for Aerofly too...
I wouldn't bother, just a few seconds loadtimes with a 5200rpm HDD over here, even faster then Xplane on SSD...
Aerofly in VR with the Quest 2 runs fine on my pretty low spec game PC (see below)...
The 128 GB version is fine, that memory is only used for Quest games, not for PCVR...
Even a second hand 64GB Quest 2 will do fine.
Hopefully converting all great freeware efforts will be made easier in the near future!
For now I will keep FS 2 installed with all the great freeware scenery and helicopters, we will see what FS 4 brings us in the future...
Would be nice, but as far as I know that version of Aerofly and the H125 are an exclusive for VRM, I assume they paided for that too. But who knows what the future brings...
I normally do but I think you can use Aerofly FS2 (and SteamVR) offline too...Launching Steam will install new updates if needed.
When using a VR headset you click in Steam library on Aeofly FS2>play and choose to run in SteamVR, it will launch both SteamVR and Aerofly...
If you use Virtual Desktop (Quest app) with a Quest VR headset wireless like me you have to launch SteamVR in Virtual Desktop and launch Aerofly FS2 in Virtual Desktop after SteamVR is running.
What works for me is using the Virtual Desktop Quest app to connect wireless to PC, then start SteamVR in Virtual Desktop and then start Aerofly in SteamVR mode...
