And a great job done again!
Had a quick look here and there, found some orca's swimming around and another R22 with animated rortor(!) in the air.
Thanks for that, always hated that non moving prop with animated planes in other scenery....

I had to think about it again too...Some people have Aerofly on a PC and a laptop with same Steam account...
When Aerofly runs well on the new PC you can copy the Documents/Aerofly FS2 folder to the new PC with all your add on scenery and aircraft....
And then you have to wait....Downloading Aerofly from Steam can take more then six hours depending on the Steam server and your internet connection speed....
You have to log in on the new PC with the same Steam account because you bought the software with that account.
I was not clear on that I see now, with 'Making a Steam account' I meant downloading Steam and log in with your existing account....
So you can have the same Steam account on both PC's but you have to be logged out of Steam on one PC before you can log in to the same Steam account on the other (new) PC.
Just make a Steam account on the new PC and download and install Aerofly...
You can even keep it on the other PC but you can not log into Steam on both PC's at the same time:
Never put add ons in the Steam apps folder, always put them in the Documents\Aerofly FS2 folder where they are 'safe' from Steam updates...
If you had Aerofly through Steam on your old PC, you can just download and install it on the new PC from Steam?
The new SteamVR beta adds running an application window attached to a VR controller visible in every SteamVR game.
I have not tested it yet but this should work with Aerofly FS2 and a map (Spotify/music player, chat app etc.) in a window.....

I totally agree, some people like to have a new helicopter every other month, collectors I guess...
Half of the time I'm flying Aerofly's R22 and I still love it, the others are good for more speed.
But I would welcome more options for water and weather!
Well...I have been promoting Aerofly a lot on the Facebook group Helicopter Flight Simulation.
Most people over there are aware of Aerofly, biggest complaint is the lack of worldwide scenery, and the quality of water, lack of dynamic weather etc....
So they prefer X Plane 11 mostly, more helicopters too for that sim, but some became aware of the good helicopter flight dynamics of Aerofly.
Quite a few of them have started with Aerofly now we have four helicopters, a few years back it was only the R22 so interest was low.
Truth....
I use three other sims for specific things Aerofly does not offer but ONLY when I have a few hours to kill...
75% of my flighttime is in Aerofly, and I am very gratefull that we can choose between four helicopters now...
Sounds promising....
Big scenery...
Animated double-decker busses, ferryboats, containerships, sailboats.
747's and a Concorde doing touch and go's, it's a trip back in time...
Thanks for your work so far!
Thanks again!!!
I would welcome to see some animated ships, cars, planes etc. for the Orbx Monterey scenery...If you can find the time...
I'm afraid we have to use the other helicopters for a map, it would be nice to have the option for a tablet with map in the R22, it's my favourite chopper too.
Tried the moving map with key 'M' and assigned to a joystick button (in settings>controls>simulation) but that has never worked in VR, I'm curious what Oldahpilot means?
Only thing working for me in VR are landmarks (those letters in the sky), no map.....
Not exactly what your asking but in most aircraft you can activate a map on one of the cockpit displays....
I have no answer but you posted in the forum for the mobile versions of AFS2, maybe you can ask again at the right place?
X-Plane 11 also has a zoom function but I never use it while in VR because it breaks the immersion, I rather lean forward for as far as needed with the Quest 2's high resolution.
But it would be a great feature for a lot of us, especially if you fly on a flatscreen...
