We call em fingers here. I do not know what’s funny bout it. People that work in airports also call them fingers.
you mean jetbridges though right?...right?

Why do the fingers at gates now have a circular shape at the end? Is that a bug?
the...fingers?
i think you mean jetbridges my guy. fingers, honestly...
It would be nice to update the flight number you are using in those flight details, I always use my birthday so I don't forget, but it doesn't update there
yeah well apparently you can edit those values in config files but as ios users we cant change them
1) There is an extremely annoying "thumping" sound present before initial startup. I don't know why this is there and assume that it is a bug.
2) On the side panel of the PFD, every livery displays "ASA 737" as its callsign while the B787 has airline-specific codes. Can the same thing be implemented for the MAX?
the thumping was also audible on the -900ER, i dont know why it does that, i've tried to address the issue but it seems to only be present on devices with really good speakers. it disappears after engine start.
also noticed that side panel, where the 787 has airline specific codes, not sure why the MAX's is always frozen as the alaskan code but hopefully they'll look into it
also yeah that altitude overlap seems to be pretty annoying - not that i ever use the metric overlay but yk for those that do that would be a noticeable thing
Push Back with the B777 works absolutely correctly in HK on all Cold and Dark courses. ,,Android,,👍🖖
Yeah I took a Cathay one to HKG last night after the update, full cold and dark state, everything was fine
They probably don't want the max 9 now after incident with that plane but i have searched about it they were going to order them
well that one that had the door blow out was an Alaskan Max 9 so yeah surprised we got this livery in the sim although saying that the alaskan livery seems to be the only one that gets an accurate flight number and registration on that little screen like the dreamy has that says elapsed time, date, registration etc. the 787 has this change depending on livery (SQ, KLM, EVA, BAW, UAL) but this MAX seems to have that screen frozen on the alaskan N928AK and ASA737 as the flight number
ios version released about 2 hours ago by the way
what device are you on? i have an ipad air and the apple app store seems to not be showing any updates other than one from 3 weeks ago...
The 3rd cockpit view of the Concorde needs this definitely.
this is what the 3rd view is for in the concorde, it's purpose is so that all the overhead switches are easily reachable because configuring engine ratings from climb to cruise in the captain's seat with advanced view movements is so awkward
For example the Robin DR 400, as I said.
or something like a cirrus SR20 or SR22
the sr22 is kinda cute ngl, i would definitely fly it
Would it be possible for the Air France office buildings near the static Concorde to be added in? CDG looks a bit unrealistic without all of the warehouses and administrative buildings around it.
For people who use devices with >16GB of RAM, are those buildings there? I'd like to know since I'm upgrading my device anyway.
From the time I did GIG-CDG in a 777 and parked in Paris near that Concorde, I don’t believe so. iPad Air 5, RAM capacity 8 gigs + M1 chip
How did you do that?
Did you go into the career menu and "resume" the flight?
How can I do this?
I started the flight, got up to cruise, and just closed the app, but not shut it down. Upon coming back, the AP had disconnected and flight time in the aircraft chrono had reset but other than that it carried on the flight as if it hadn’t been paused.
For me, a button-pressing sound occurs in all commercial aircraft without pressing anything.
If I stop a flight and come back the next day to continue, the flight will be fragmented in the Career page. It says "Takeoff from _____" and landing in "_____" instead of flight from "_____" to "_____".
I started this flight pictured a few days ago, came back to finish it tonight and the sim has taken it all as one route? not sure why yours hasn’t, that’s a bit odd
Anchorage airport name has a typo btw
You should be hired by IPACS.
Ahah thanks lol
few bug reports ive been meaning to make for a while:
after completing a full flight and returning to the location selection menu, the departure and arrival preset locations as well as terminal spawn locations disappear from the map in the airport that was just flown into. the app must be restarted to get them back.
also after completing a flight into any airport, the indicator in the top left corner which shows nearest airport does not correct to the airport that the user is at. for example, a user posted a photo in the gallery at Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok and the indicator was still pointing to Sek Kong airport.
mentioned this before, but at altitudes of 35,000 feet or greater, when engaged in the CRZ flight thrust detent, the new 737 is not able to keep speed whatsoever. set 261 knots indicated, for Mach .785, and gradually, the airspeed will just bleed back until the aircraft eventually stalls. the only way to get around this is to engage CLB 1 or CLB and leave it in one of those settings for the duration of the flight.
last one, when at cruise altitude and mach is the chosen speed mode in the MCP, it will display the selected speed at the top of the speed section of the PFD. however, the 777 still shows an indicated airspeed, regardless if a mach speed is selected. it should also display the mach if the speed selector in the MCP is set to mach as well. (i'll attach an image if it helps)
Edit: the 744 does the same thing with cruise speed and Mach selected vs ias shown on the pfd
The 3D architecture of Melbourne Airport has been updated and added, and there was indeed no such content a few days ago
I checked it when i downloaded the sim and it used to be completely flat, now it’s got buildings so..
Cold and Dark for fighterjets and the Concorde
Uhhh, the jets and Concorde are built on a different engine which means they are really difficult to model cold and dark. Concorde especially. Although it would be cool, assume this is incredibly hard to change as of now.
Am i the only one with this bug where the terrain doesn't load up and theres some black empty boxes on the scenery and everything is just flat
Got this as well, seems to happen to everyone
Hi, a family member of mine flies 787s for British Airways, this is a standard HUD in cruise for reference:
(Taken a long time ago but the point still stands) i don’t think aerofly’s 787 is that far off to be honest. Tell me if I’m wrong at all.
