I would like to know, if it's necessary to change the QNH for every airport sice Aerofly doesn't have weather, but elevations are present?

It's time to really put a moving map inside the fs mobile because it's 100% less immersive without the map and pausing the flight to just go and check the nav menu kills immersion, RFS implemented this and it's way easier to navigate, i use the map to navigate while on ground and on air even in msfs, but with the A380 & A350 in Aerofly fs global, it's easier because there is an EFB map, this example is from RFS, i can access the map without pausing my flight, since RFS has done it, it means mobile can handle this maybe with some texture sacrifice, but x-plane mobiles map in flight has full texture, this map is a must have if ipacs want to improve immersion

another way to implement a moving map will be to put an EFB in the cockpit of every aircraft that includes a moving map, just like you did with the A380 and A350, this might be easier since you already did it and it works, the moving map in both aircraft makes navigation much easier while on the ground. MSFS2024 has this, that's the main reason i always fly msfs2024 instead of MSFS2020.
You can also add texture to the map (satellite terrain or normal terrain) if that will not have a negative impact. -

The default assignment to toggle sound on/off is 'Q'
Thanks, i didn't know i toggled the sound off, it now works fine.

Aerofly fs 4 sound doesn't work, tried with headphones on and off, this has been going on for a while now, every game i have has sound except Aerofly.

Are only some buttons not working or the hole controller?
If the controller is not working, it looks to me like the controller has lost the connection to your device.
Is the controller connected to a second device? A different mobile phone or your PS4? Maybe the controller is trying to connect to these other devices and that could cause this issue.
The controller is working fine and so does all the buttons it has, the problem lies with AFSG.

Hi,
I'm curious, does anyone use a PS4 controller for Aerofly fs global? if you do, did you notice that sometimes some buttons suddenly stop working, the sim needs to be shutdown and completely closed and restarted for it to start working again, i experienced it today and it happened on short final and destabilized my approach.

Dear ipacs, Jet-Pack (IPACS)I have one feature request regarding the new step favorites view button.
It will be great if you could add wing views to be a favorite view, that way, users don't have to switch to view selections to be able to switch to a wing view and switch back to step favorites.
Ps. I know i can switch to view selections whenever i want wing views, and yet, it's easier for me since the phone i have has shoulder triggers that you can map to anything, but for the users that want to keep their views button to step favorites but still want wing views.
Step favorites is one of the best things that you guys introduced to the sim. Wish you and the team many successful years ahead.

Hi, i got it to work, but i had to learn how to figure out my broadcast ip address fom a YouTube tutorial vedio and how to correctly input it into aerofly as my broadcast ip was sometimes 2 digits,
(ex. 19.14.= 019.014.).
I have to say it's more efficient because the taxi ways are visible on the map, that makes it easier) brilliant work and thanks for this masterpiece.

I am very happy that it is working and may be useful!
It was beautifully coded by Claude 3.5 Sonnet, I almost did no intervention in the coding process. Just iterating, testing and providing feedback until it was ready. It was very impressive at the end when I asked it to refactor the script and how it modified it and improved it to make the version we have now. These are very good times for amateur coders like me, it is possible to do things far bigger than with self knowledge.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) & admin what do you think of this? is it time to have a non third party MAP like RFS has that is accessible in-flight without going back to the menu or pausing the flight but with IPACS level quality?
Benefits: taxiing will be so much easier, in short,
navigation will be a breeze with this new moving map.

If I buy this game from steam in pc( 1000 Indian currency), do I have to purchase scenery and all planes separately or it will be there in the game.
If you purchase the deluxe version, you will have all aircraft, (no additional purchases) needed and yes, global scenery will be
available to you without a subscription.
If you buy the normal version, you will have to
purchase additional aircraft, but still, global scenery will be available without a
subscription.

You can just go back to the menu and then go into the map. It's just one extra step now.
There is a problem with that, if you have the copilot enabled with route on and you go back to the menu to go into the map, and spend a couple seconds, once you go back into the flight, the copilot will still be enabled but the route option will be disabled, a bit tricky isn't it!

Thank you for bringing global to Aerofly, it's much appreciated. I have a request that you bring back the in-flight map to Aerofly fs global as it was in Aerofly fs 2020, we need a moving map (that moves with the aircraft) and that allows the view of the entire globe just like the map in the navigation menu in Aerofly fs global. Below is a screenshot refrence, you can access the map by clicking where the arrow is. P.s. a bonus will be adding a live ETE (esimated time enroute) to destination that is synchronised with the flight and updated accordingly. If you could implement the map in a way that the flight doesn't have to be paused when accessing it that will be great.

Hi ipacs,
I just had a thought, do you think it's a good idea to include an option to restore default Graphic settings incase we mess around with it and it causes frame rate drops, i mean, many times the game does a good job in detecting how the phone will perform, it might not be the case every time but it may be a useful option to add since sometimes we forget what the optimal settings were after we've messed around.
Just a passing thought
P.s. Global is a welcome sight, thanks for all the hard work.
