I did it and it now has the extra tandem sounds. The only thing that's not working is engine idle and misfire. I didn't find a TSB file for engine idle.

to be honest i dont think i even got the first part kauai_niihau_v3 right.

so i placed the hawaiian_islands_oahu_v1 folder into

fs2>addons>scenery

same for the US_HI_elevation

i just see some airports and speckled houses over blurry land. obviously i did something wrong. i was told i needed orthos to be placed in my images folder?? i didnt do that so im sure this is my issue. fwiw, ive never done this before. my first attempt was the kauai_niihau_v3 which didnt work for me but perhaps i needed orthos and didnt know. please help shed some light here for me.

I tried looking for orthos via google but I couldn't find a download. I might have misunderstood you. Is this some kind of file I need to download and place in images folder?

I currently have a Hawaii location I downloaded about 3 weeks ago. (Hawaiian_islands_kauai_niihau_v3)

My question is do I just still add this file into "places" regardless of having the other Hawaii download? Or should i delete it and add this one? Again sorry I'm a greenhorn.

Now, which one am I copying over? Just the sound file? Of course I'll make a backup of both planes so if anything goes wrong I'll delete and replace.

ohhh I had no idea this was possible. So I can copy over the engine sound from the original extra to the freeware extra? Forgive my ignorance I'm new to this stuff.

does anyone know if the engine sound is working on the freeware extra 300? Such a nice model but the silence is killing me. I'm sure he's working on it.

I can't seem to find what I'm suppose to download on the steam site. Is there a way you could possibly point me out? I did go the aerofly website and found a written tutorial but nothing on a particular aircraft. Forgive my ignorance please.
