Turn the red switch on the throttle down and operate the respective throttle in the cockpit view.
You have to wait until the respective engine comes to a standstill otherwise it will start up again. But IPACS has already explained this here. You will learn by trying it out.
How long do I have to wait? In flight , it seems like it can always restart -
Then just switch off an engine. 🤷
How do I that in the CRJ so that it does not restart when I advance the throttle slider? I still need to control the other engine 😂
-
Yes, this works as intended. Moving the thrust levers forward disables the cut off and the electronic engine control tries its best to make the engine run as instructed by the pilot.
I’d like to practice failure of one engine
-
Click the red latches on the thrust lever to set it to cut off.
It spools back up if I apply full power with the slider control
-
So that when I advance the throttle slider it doesn’t power back up?
-
It is probably because of the wind and turbulence settings you set
Ah yes, I had forgotten I had turbulence set to high . Thanks

Don’t know how to better describe it, but the airspeed indicator in Flight Information shows the speed rapidly changing for a few knots, then pausing, then changing again.
Looking at the PFD , the speed exhibits the same cyclical variability, and as far as I can tell from the artificial horizon it is caused by quick small oscillations in pitch I don’t recall seeing in previous versions . -
Lights back in! Yay!
Will using low pixel density decrease battery usage?
-
Even at 100 pixel density the performance seemed locked at 60fps
Confirming 60FPS lock, iPhone 12
-
Confirmed city light disappeared even on highest pixel density .

Only MFI devices work on iOS

I assume you are On Android, it will map a joystick to the view axis.

Terrain loading delays in A320

So basically sometime between AF2021 and AF2023 the miscellaneous setting Restart Time After Crash was fixed to Infinite 🙄
-
Well then maybe don't try to crash and fly scheduled operations
It’s a matter of consistency.the game models if brakes got too hot in the A320, I would like to know if my landing bent the landing gear 😀
-
This is all understandable, but from what I recall in other aircraft it seems more stringent
-
Even hitting the ground wing first, the simulation doesn’t reset …
-
Please explain what you would like to do. I don't understand the question.
Say I go through a lengthy cold start checklist, but I only have a few minutes to play, can it resume from where I stopped? For example on the CRJ it didn’t seem to save the thrust reverser armed state
