it's way to sensitive to use it in the sim
you can buy a thumb stick nub to extend it and alleviate the problem a bit

Not really a bug, but I would like to be able to control the dead zone on the thumb sticks . Among other customizations that are sorely lacking for those of us using gamepads.I realize not many people fly with gaming hardware, but I think it’s going to get more and more popular as the capabilities of mobile devices increase.
It's really hard to hover/fly helis in Mobile version !
yeah, I use a gamepad, and still can't stay in one spot even with the easier EC135
yes but for me onnly the r22
are you responding on my comment on rudder options?
There is a manual rudder option in the settings, does that not do anything for helicopters?
How realistic compared to the desktop version are the R22 and EC135?
I would settle for being able to customize game pad controls
I still can’t hover properly, that is I am worse at it here than using a desktop simulator .I think there is a controller dead zone , which is unrealistic. The small screen does not help the eye catch movement in time to make the small corrections needed to keep in place. It would be nice to get more controller options . There is a decent free simulator for RC but I haven’t yet tested it with the Nimbus.
XPlane had collective mapped as a stick but backwards, and the helicopter jumps in the air right away. I would like the option to customize game pad controls in Aerofly mobile ad well.
I’ve added a silicone nub to the cyclic stick and am holding it between my thumb and forefinger . It’s a bit awkward but much better precision than using just thumb. I’m still not perfectly stable in hover .
I am using Nimbus Steelseries with iPhone and it works pretty well. I added a silicone cap to the right stick to bring it closer to a joystick. The paddles for tail rotor are a bit sensitive but functional. the Collective control on the D Pad is the worst of them, and there is no trim I can find. But it is overall way better than the X-Plane mobile mapping on the same controller.
It seems to me like in general the torque in hover is less than it should be. At the same time , certain yaw effects due to other controls moved are simulated at full capacity, creating an unrealistic experience.
Auto-trim does not seem to do anything . It would actually be a more realistic way of simulating a helicopter as the cyclic in real life can be left in any position.
I’m using a Nimbus Steelseries on iOS
