Just sitting in the flight deck, looks so modern. A bit to get used to compared to the a320 family. The sounds are superb, well done Ipacs.

The logo light turns off on the a320 family when the flaps/slats are retracted, it's simulated correctly.

So far I have not seen any differences in terms of cockpit quality in the a319 compared to the the a320 and the a321. Maybe this is a device specific issue?
On the pc version FS4 it was noticeable.

Having just flown this baby, I can say that I am very impressed with it. Thank you! Just noticed that the textures of the seat are of lower quality and the inscriptions on the buttons on the overhead are also of low resolution quality. At that time, everything fine on the A320 and A321 aircraft in this regard. (If anything, I'm speaking for the PC version of the game now)
I noticed the same with the overhead panel, lower textures than the a320/21.
Everything else is great though.

OK I will have another look later thanks.
If I remember correctly it's on VNAV descent prediction...
Thanks I have found it now, on the DES Forecasts page.

I can set the transition for departure, and it shows on the vnav page for climb. However on approach it defaults back to 7000 in Europe. Appr ref page 2 is blank so maybe it's there on the real fmc?

Not implemented yet.

Do you start engines the same, 25% n2 then add fuel?
-
They operate 737-800 and Max-8, no 900er.

Did a flight from the missions menu a320 LAX to JFK. Initial cruise FL300 in MCDU and sim navigation menu. I did 2 time skips and it’s up to FL320. Images show after 2 skips new cruise in mcdu and menu. [Blocked Image: https://imgur.com/a/wRUBdLq]
This is fs23 but same thing on fs4 pc

Can you make it use a vertical speed mode climb or a speed hold mode climb? A step climb inches up at a very low rate of climb. The aim is to prevent a speed drop. A Mach number at FL420 also corresponds to a much lower indicated airspeed so the plane will be getting nearer to the stall the higher it goes.
Could a workaround be to time jump from a lower level?
A lower level is a workaround as it increases a 1000ft each skip. Did a flight with 3 skips this evening from initial alt at FL300 and 3 skips was FL330, was with the A320. I guess if you doing a long haul flight and want to time skip just set initial cruise lower than usual.

on mobile it also doesn't have 1000 feet, but VNAV bugs when it skips time🇧🇷
What VNAV bug? I can't remember if I was in VNAV or ALT hold. I can't check on mobile as I'm on iOS.

To have it, you have to reach your cruise altitude (using skip time), and then another skip time will increase your cruise altitude unless you have reach the maximum one registered somewhere in Aerofly.
In this case for the Airbus, the FL CRZ in the MCDU will be set 1000 ft more. A320 max FL390 in Aerofly, set FL400 in MCDU.
Ok, I flew up to my cruise alt in real time, FL320 was in the FMC and the MCP and was the same after skipping twice. I've had issues in the 747 before on a transatlantic, had a stall at FL420.
It would be nice to just have a skip to the top of descent, I know you can go to the map and move the plane but that resets the plane.

I noticed on pc the 737-900 didn't have the 1000ft increase each skip. I did a Vegas to Miami and time skipped yesterday.
-
Ah ok that makes sense. It's a small thing anyway and as I say can use heading mode for now. Really enjoying FS4 and can't stop flying the 737-900 lately.
-
Wondering if there were any plans to add a direct to waypoint feature in the airliner FMC/MCDU.
I know we can just go manual heading mode to give ourselves shortcuts but it would be nice to go direct to clean up the flight plans on the ND

The fasten seat belt, chime and attend sounds don’t seem to work. Is there a control somewhere?
I can hear them when engines off, on climb out i can't but during cruise and descent I can hear them faintly.
Flew the tutorial flight, very informative guide, I'm only really familiar with the a320 systems so the 737 is new to me, quite a bit different to the 787 in a lot of ways except the autopilot. The 737-900 has fantastic sounds. Overall a great addition to the sim and I will enjoy learning the aircraft.
