Hi, I have the same issue.
Can you please share how you have sorted it out?
Thanks
Hi
I am home tonight. I will look at my jeti and write down what I did when I’m home 👍

Hi
I am home tonight. I will look at my jeti and write down what I did when I’m home 👍
yes, this one. Paid for it and downloaded
Not sure with Mac but I seem to recall these user aircraft need to go into a Custom aircraft folder. When you go to look for them they should be in a Custom category.
There is a custom folder. Tried it in there but still no luck
From what I read, I should be able to drop the aircraft file in the aircraft folder and it should work
Could it be that it needs a confirmation from Apple?
I’ve no idea on that
It could be that the aircraft description file was changed for Aerofly RC 9.
Hi. Thanks for the reply. I have no idea what you mean though. What would I need to change? Many thanks 👍
Hi
I have downloaded an aircraft from the jparia website. I have put it in the aircraft folder on my Mac. But when I start rc9 I can’t find the aircraft anywhere. It’s the slick 360. I have unzipped the file.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks
I use rc9 on my MacBook Pro M1. Runs great. I use a jeti ds12 on it. I was using the usb cable that came with the transmitter. Then last week I got the usb dongle that I can put a receiver in to so I can sim without cables. It took a bit of figuring out to set up with jeti. Not quite as simple as the steps shown on this website but got it working and it works very well now 👍
There are plenty of options for other transmitters but I don’t know which one you are trying to use
Hi there, can you please advice. I’m thinking of downloading rc9 to my mac. Can I use my own transmitter as a controller? More importantly, what connections do I need?
Thanks
Which transmitter do you have?
Got it working now 👍
Hi,
I have just got the USB interface so I can plug in a receiver rather than use the USB cable. I am using a Jeti DS12 and an R5 receiver. I have gone through the set up instructions on this site. The receiver is bound to the radio on a new model. I have set channel 5 output for PPM. That is the pin for PPM on this receiver.
When I go to configure it in Aerofly RC9 I can only calibrate the main sticks. It does not see the switches or sliders/knobs. I tried adding them in Functions assignment within the DS12 but that has made no difference.
Any help really appreciated. Thanks. 👍
Everything works fine when I use the USB cable from DS12 to the computer.
Yes, updates will be delivered via Mac App Store as usual.
Nice one 👍👍
Nice one. Thank you. I’ll give that a try tonight 👍
@three6ty: We didn't say we will remove RC 9 from Mac App Store, we were refering to the App Bundle only which should have allowed the users to get RC 9 at a reduced price when they already purchased RC 8.
Ah ok. Thank you for the clarification. And my apologies for thinking you would remove rc9. 👍
Will updates still come through ok on the version from the App Store?
Hi,
Could someone be kind enough to tell me where the flight recordings are stored on a Mac. I am using RC9. Thanks
It has happened to Aerofly FS 2
Do they still update FS2?
RC9 is a brand new product. I would be very disappointed if they pulled it from the App Store and I no longer got updates so early in the products lifespan.
If they pull it from the App Store and put it on steam instead,I would like to hope they transfer my license to steam so I continue getting software updates.
Hi
I am a new user of rc9. Downloaded to my M1 MacBook Pro from the App Store. I’m really enjoying it so far.
However I’m worried from the above statement that if you pull it from the App Store, that I’ll no longer get updates to rc9. How will I get updates in the future if this happens?
