Ok and does it make any difference if you see the plane from the outside vs from the cockpit view?
It lags when inside and outside the aircraft. Some aircraft also lag like the Concorde even with them off if that is helpful to know.
And do you have a similar effect with the landing lights?
Yes but that is expected and doesn't have as large of a drop as the nav lights.
Is this only in the 777 or does it affect other aircraft as well?
This affects all aircraft. I have found my self having to turn off them to have a decent fps.
Hello! I have found a issue regarding nav lights when using the aircraft lights. As shown in the second picture, I am getting about 15 fps with nav lights turned on. The first photo shows 30 fps with them off. Lights like beacon and strobe don't have this problem.
(Tested at KPHL using the same conditions, same problem in air too)
Display MoreI can say with certainty that my first two reports are accurate. Sensitivity of tilt and throttle power have changed in the latest FS 2023 version update and the Boeing 787/777 gear physics have also changed to where landings "jolt" the aircraft at a much harsher scale. Furthermore, the main landing gears seem "weak", making smooth landings significantly more difficult to perform.
Regarding "KLBE", I believe that is supposed to be KPHL because Philadelphia now has buildings. It looks amazing!
Additionally, I have noticed the Boeing 787's callouts are inaccurate. For example, when it calls out 10, AGL is 15. When it calls out 5, AGL is 9.
Anything to address these concerns admin Jet-Pack (IPACS)?
I saw, was super excited to see kphl have buildings. Did flight ba67. Great to see my home airport super detailed
When I lift the throttle valve(Max
), an alarm will be generated. What is it? What does it mean?
Low RPM warning I believe
I never heard it before ....
You had you turn your volume up very high for you to hear it.
There wasn't an FMS in the real one. All it could do is store lat/long coordinates of 10 waypoints and fly towards them. After the first 5 points were passed you could program in the next 5 until you get to your destination. In Aerofly this entry is not yet possible but you can just set up a route in the navigation menu and Concorde will follow it. There is no VNAV. Start the decent from FL600 at about 250-200NM from your destination and you should be down in time.
Makes sense thanks!
I can handle almost all Aerofly Planes, but the Concorde pushes my limits.
No comparison to Boeing and Airbus ect.
🤯😵💫🖖
Is the fms/MCDU functional? Can't seem to figure it out.
Great to see
He said the whole east coast including Boston… will come to the mobile version
I was guessing so but the English auto correct was dodgey.
I think the only scenery in the east coast was the new york area but Im guessing they aren't finished with it. Would love to see my home airport KPHL
Been having a bad day, seeing this makes me super happy now.
Storage isn’t a problem if it’s an ingame dlc.
Your right.
Hello! I could see it happening but due to storage and depending on how long it would take to port, these are some reasons could be why it could or couldn't happen. We should wait patiently and give the developers time.
Hello, I've found what I think it means through a training manual
"Optionally, the system can be equipped with an upper limit, which
indicates that the helicopter has passed a selected altitude from below.
The upper limit is typically connected to the barometric pressure and
is indicated at the PFD. Optional, the UL may be connected to the radar
altimeter system and can operate up to radar altimeter range 2500 ft."
How many times does this need to be said? Even if it’s nearing the end of October, posting x many times to this forum asking IPACS to “chop chop” with news of the new sim isn’t going to get you anywhere. It’s simply a question of waiting, and patience.
Just. Wait. We’re bound to get news in a few weeks as the first 2 weeks of December are prime dates for release.
Agreed!
