Yesterday I landed at Vuscat airport and shut down the aircraft. Today I continued where I left off and prepared the aircraft for flight. However, I was only able to taxi the aircraft by setting the thrust to 35%. Even with the brakes not engaged, the plane was having difficulty moving. I managed to regain takeoff speed and took off, after which the "BRK HOT" light came on. The problem doesn't end there. Even when I engage the parking brake during landing, the plane still moves on slightly inclined surfaces. It's as if the brakes are disengaged.

Should call an airport mechanic to check it out and apologize to the passengers for the delay ^^ or leave the brake fan permanently on.

Seriously though, maybe check the anti-skid system ( if this sim even simulates that )

So correct me if I'm wrong, when you're about to hit T/D ( Top of Descent ) you arm the altitude mode by turning the knob to your desired FL and only once you reach T/D, you press the knob. Just depends on how you programmed the MCDU.

to press or pull on ipad, I believe you hold on to the big circle and either swipe up or down.

Is this with real ATC or not ? How are these operations carried out, through dc ? It looks very interesting.

So we are pretty much just creating mods for Aerofly, some of them will be ATC and Multiplayer, hopefully we will also add a better weather, ground crew system as well,I am currently working on a car mod to bring life to the streets!Since the ATC part was a bit boring so I am gonna restart the project in a few weeks

I'd really like to see something with ATC, I am currently awaiting a mentor to do my practical on my S1 rating and I would like to train by controlling real people before I take things to vatsim.

I'd also like to mention that the runway presented on the navigation display is actually an Airstrip that has long been out of operation, so technically it does have 2 asphalt runways and 1 grass airstrip. However they no longer use the airstrip and if I'm not mistaken, that airstrip has been there since ww2 era. This airport serverd as a WW2 airbase back in the 1940's and shortly after in the 1950's is when they applied asphalt to the longer runways. The grass runway was deemed unnecessary and had been shut down by the airport directors.

Hello all, it has been a while since I last posted in this forum and a lot has happened, I have done my introductory flight and I plan on studying to become a commercial pilot.

Well in this Sim, I was busy planning a route a flew back in 2022 from Port Elizabeth to King Shaka ( Durban ) when I was planning the departure out of FAPE, that's when it caught my eye, what appears to be a navigation glitch as this for some reason doesn't show on the locations map. Please fix this as it is my home city ^^ Has anyone else experienced a similar issue ?

    This is the location menu.

This is a very good idea, however I think that this could be a distant project, to the extent that we are already waiting initially for the water and the weather.

Let's be honest though...ITS WORTH THE WAIT !:D, as soon as it get's added it would be like MSFS. What I'm hoping for is exterior inspection.;)

oh - I meant Aerofly RC 10 - sorry, the RC plane version.

    sorry for partial information!

    Not a problem

oops - I am trying to figure out how to post on the RC plane forum, but looks like the "thread is closed"...

appreciate any help or advice on how to get Aerofly RC 10 to run on Mac again (briefly was working but now getting error message)

    Thank you!

    Alan

You might need Jet-Pack (IPACS) to give you a little bit more information on why that is.

    Sorry for pinging.

Aerofly 10 ? you mean 1, right? or did you mean RC ? I'm very confused ^^

Thank you so much for this. I keep in mind.

I only have a small postscript. Do you have any idea why the x plane simulator has it so that you can't start the engines without FUEL PUMS ON?

Anyway thank you so much! I appreciate your work:thumbup:

At the moment in order to switch off engines on the aircraft,Take an Airbus A320 for example, are the engine 1 and 2 master switch or engine ignition switch set to off.

Hello,Since Global scenery is now a thing for Aerofly,I though it would be cool and realistic to see more Aircaft from different regions,This is the A320-200 which was an Aircraft that got recovered from SA airways and this is 1 of 8 in their current fleet,South African airways was also an Airline that was ungrounded recently.I know this won't get added any time soon but it was just a suggestion,In fact I'm flying with them on thursday to Joburg to compete in a tournament.:)

Drone camera and fuel and payload options are on my wish list…

What I was thinking was something like the wing views that we already have but have a view from the inside seeing the window and have vibrations when the aircraft makes contact with the ground that would be cool :) And maybe with a future weather update there could be rain particles on the window, now that I think of it,the A320 window wipers would then serve a purpose :D Probably for future updates though.
