The CRJ FMS is very limited because many sections are missing. Currently, it is only possible to enter the route and nothing else. There is not even a performance page in this FMS. I do not understand why they made such a limited FMS for this aircraft. Given the time these limitations have existed, I do not believe there will be any improvements in the short or medium term.

    💯

Unfortunately the FMS is not as developed as in real life and is very rudimentary.

As far as I know you can only edit the flightplan with the planning tool of Aerofly. It is not possible to enter new waypoints, speed or speed limits.

You can set the altitude by using the autopilot.

The CRJ-900 didn't have an autothrottle, so you have to control the thrust yourself during the hole flight.

Do you find the the thrust lever system on the CRJ-900 sort of make it easier due to the detents it has?

I can’t seem to figure out how to find assigned speeds programmed into the FMS, therefore I don’t know what speed to fly at. I also don’t know how to set a cruising altitude. I have gone through tutorials but can’t seem to find the correct way. How do I find it?

A personal review on the 1.04 update:

    • The A319 is great, although it could use some touch-ups when it comes to cockpit texturing.
    • I'm still a little bit confused on how to use the new co-pilot system. (is it just the layout the same but just new features or was everything re-done)?

Things I believe need prioritized (bolded) and less important updates needed in the future:

    • More 3D airports in Canada, Mexico, Central America, The Central United States, and Africa seeming how the last two continents is essentially empty, but has potential due to most aircrafts having liveries from popular airlines native to some of their countries.
    • Popular 737 variants such as the -700/-800/MAX 8, including Canadian airline liveries such as WestJet and Sunwing.
    • Regional jets such as the Embraer 190/195, and the DHC-6 Twin Otter for flying into extremely small airports like Lukla and most airports in the Caribbean.
    • Loadable fuel, cargo, baggage, and ground catering services.
    • Automated pushback so users can focus on the engine start procedures without having to worry about pushback at the same time which would even further the realism, kind of a pain in my opinion.
    • Realistic weather such as rain and snow, including de-icing trucks seeming how winter is just around the corner.
    • Updated waypoints in a lot of places such as over oceans, including longitude and latitude waypoints, kind of annoying when I've generated a whole flightplan in simbrief that includes longitude and latitude waypoints that I can't enter into the FMS.

Overall, if most of the things stated above are considered, I believe the sim could have even more potential and competition in the mobile sim industry. From past mobile simulators I've played, Aerofly FS seems to be the best one yet and I'd like to see it become even better for all users to enjoy.

    Thanks for reading,

I think it would be a great addition to the simulator if airports in Canada & Mexico were to be added. In my opinion, having popular airports such as Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal, Moncton, and Halifax along with a couple popular airports in Mexico such as Puerto Vallarta and Cancún would really draw some attention, seeming as not many other mobile sims pay attention to them. I know the developers are working hard on airports and other projects, but I truly believe that having these popular airports would significantly increase player experience.

Please make sure to keep the assistance "auto cockpit" enabled to manage the pressurization system for you. Also make sure that both engine bleed switches are set on, otherwise the cabin cannot be pressurized. The horn comes on regardless of the selected cruise altitude if the cabin altitude exceeds 10,000ft.

    Hello Jan,

I apologize, I seem to have left out the engine bleed switch resolution I performed shortly after the cabin altitude alert and not having the auto cockpit feautre enabled. Otherwise, do you plan on looking into the other 2 issues I encountered?

I recently encountered a few issues while on a flight from KSMF/KSEA.

The pic size was beyond 1 MB so I wasn’t able to attach them here.

    - The A/T disconnecting almost immediately after rotation, regardless of the flight directors being engaged and thrust setting.

    - The off schedule descent light illuminating shortly before reaching cruise.

    - The cabin altitude horn and light going off, even when the altitude is configured on the pressurization panel.

    - The A/P randomly disconnecting at cruise
