I fixed the folder name to match the .tmd filename

The path for the .TMD file also seems to be correct. '/Users/username/Library/Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-fs-4-mac/Data/Library/Application Support/Aerofly FS 4/addons/aircraft/j3cub/j3cub.tmd'

I also checked the tutorial website. I searched for a file without the /Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-fs-4-mac/ and none exists.

I don't think it's an issue with the mod itself, as I tried a few of the more reputable ones and they didn't work either.

Please bear with me because I'm not super familiar with modding on Mac.

I downloaded the app from the App Store. I tried moving the addon to '/Users/user/Library/Containers/com.aerofly.aerofly-fs-4-mac/Data/Library/Application Support/Aerofly FS 4/addons/aircraft/j3cub-main' (j3cub-main is the addon I'm trying to install.) The app still launches, but the aircraft doesn't appear.

Hi, I have tried to install a few user addons from different sites, and none of them have appeared in my aircraft menu. I am using macOS and dragged the folder with the user aircraft to the "aircraft" folder in resources. I also tried moving the user aircraft to the "aircraft preview" folder. I'm wondering if these aircraft work on macOS or if I need to put them in a different folder?

I saw an older thread about the Thrustmaster Airbus controls working well with MacBooks. I also fly on my M2 MacBook, and the sim works great. I'm currently flying with a PS4 controller and am looking to upgrade. I was wondering if the cheaper "USB Joystick" from Thrustmaster would be compatible. Specifically this one. Are all Thrustmaster products supported?

I know Aerofly Fs 4 works with Oculus and Works with mac, but can I use both?

I think I can speak on behalf of a lot of people when I say the A320 NEO versions are very missed in the Sim and I would love to see them added in the next update, especially considering it’s practically the same engine as the 737Max aircraft. If we could see that this year that would be epic!

Another option which shouldn’t be difficult is seeing the 737-8 in the sim this would be a huge and simple add on as the majority of us fly in Europe and having a Ryanair aircraft would add so many route options!

Anyway just making a suggestion that might help make the decision on what to update easier! I love the sim, for me these two aircraft’s would make a HUGE difference.

I think that the 767/a330 would be great. I would love to see some "older" aircraft in the sim. Early airliners, even a Md-80 or dc-9 would be very cool.

Hi, I was wondering how to do this on if I installed Aerofly FS 4 from the Mac app store. The application isn't showing up in application support.

Re-installing Aerofly doesn't delete your settings or custom key bindings. Go to your user documents in the Aerofly FS 2 folder and manually delete the main.mcf to restore the settings to default and the gc-map to restore all key bindings to default.

Hi, I am having the same issue and am using a PS4 controller on a Mac. I looked through the package contents in finder and could not find the main.mcf file. I tried re-installing Aerofly on the app store and moved the old files to trash in Finder but that still hasn't worked. I am trying to have no joystick assigned to elevators, and I can't figure out how to do that. I have been unable to fly because of this and am wondering if there is an equivalent of the main.mcf folder on Mac or a way to reset the keybinds/controls.
