777Driver This is great! I actually build something for the last few days which is supposed to inject SimBrief flight plans (or other flight plan file formats) into the main.mcf. Depending on the programming language you used you may readily grab the SimBrief API adapter as well as the part which transforms it into the main.mcf from my prototype. I used Typescript/ JavaScript, but this can easily transformed into any other languages.
(I noticed that Aerofly can handle flight plans without the internal UIDs with only minor limitations to functionality, so actually creating flight plans from outside sources is possible.)
Using simbrief for making flightplans to aerofly would be amazing, keep me updated

I originally started making these mods for myself, I'll be looking to get somewhere permanent set up to share. I use SimBrief, but I manually enter the waypoints into the FS4 flight planner; AIRACS doesn't match up, so it's rare I can use the entire SimBrief route. SIDS & STARS tend to be wrong, too.
I can send you a link to this tool, but you should only save routes that you have programmed using the aircraft's MCDU or the FS4 route creator. My mod doesn't add anything new to flight plan functionality; it just allows you to save and upload FS4 flight plans at a later date.

Nice! i do that too sometimes but i mostly enjoy the simplicity of doing it the aerofly way, I am not currently in need of it but i totally support you creating great stuff for the sim

I designed it to behave close to reality, at any time a multitude of faults and combinations can occur. From a small glitch in one of the 4 batteries, up to losing both engines in cruise, or fires at or after V1.
By default, the serious failures are very rare, small glitches are more common, like in real life.
Two additional modes can be accessed through tick boxes.
- Force a major emergency below 5000ft
- Simulator Checkride - (Will throw all types of failures at you for every flight)
I went through each system 1 by 1, the devs really went in-depth with system logic.
Btw, one of the devs did say they hope to make an in-built version in the future, but that could be years away.
Amazing, i love people putting work to making stuff like this to improve the sim. Will think about if i would like stuff to fail during my flights or not but either way it is amazing

I created a tool a little while back that allows you to save or upload routes into the FMGS/MCDU. It backs up the main.mcf and copies out any route and stores it in a folder. If anyone's interested, I can send a link. Its a very simple program, but it's handy on those long hauls. At some point, I'll expand it to give metar reports for arrival/destination, and full SID/STAR info etc
It also allows me to preview my routes that I've built using Navigraph

Very cool tool! you seem to be making alot of great stuff, perhaps make some kind of discord server or github with a collection of your work, and being able to import others routes would be cool, it would work like in real life. I would guess using simbrief isn't a thing in this correct?

I have this one from WINWING on my Mac:
(1) URSA MINOR Fighter Joystick: This is fully compatible.
(2) FCU with EFIS-L and EFIS-R: These are partly compatible
In terms of compatibility, a distinction must be made between switches/buttons and gauges:
- The switches/buttons basically work. However, these can only be coupled with the FS 4 for those functions offered in the MENU SETTINGS CONTROLLER of the FS 4. For example, only AP(MASTER) and not AP1 and AP2 are currently available for the autopilot. Here, however, IPACS improves again and again in my experience.
- With the digital ads it looks different, here unfortunately no values are written back so far.This is great info! But what do the screens say while not giving values? and would it be worth buying still? Could you maybe add me on discord or something and record a little video? that would be absolutely amazing

The official documentation provides some APIs, but no one seems to be working on adapting them. You can try it if you have the skills, but otherwise, only the joystick might work.
I see, yeah no i got zero experience, acording to earlier posts they work but the screens don't add up. is this because the product can't get those numbers out of the sim?

Hello! i am thinking about buying some winwing stuff to use for flight simming, I have been told it is incompatible. is there a way to fix this? would you or winwing have to make it compatible? Would be cool since the sim is amazing and i don't really feel like buying them for use in another sim. Thanks
