When did this happen? Did you use time skip or did you use the quick lift up function or did you spawn in the air at high altitude?
I've been there before too. I was flying from Narita to Honolulu on an A380-800. After taking off under my control, climbing on the autopilot, and reaching cruising altitude, N1's RPM continued to rise. Even when I turned off the engine, it still wouldn't stop.
