We can only speculate now, but I'll confirm myself when it releases
Ok then, lookin forward for it!!

Just for curiosity, Are we getting cabin model in A350, like B787 did?
No, it's the MacBook Air M2 2022 with 8 GB RAM, 512 GB HDD and 10-core GPU. I assume, the gpu could be the point, the models with 256 GB HDD have only 8-core GPU.
Oh that makes sense why my aerofly act so laggy unlike yours...
I've about 25 FPS, which is good enough for flying flawlessly, on an MacbookAir M2 (2022) with 10core GPU, when I'm fly in an A319 over London with this settings ...
Wow thats quiet smooth fps!! I assume that ur mac book has 16GB RAM not 8GB.
What resolution do you currently use? If you have a retina display it might be too much for the graphics card. Please try if using a lower resolution improves performance significantly.
My current resolution setting is 1470✖️956 (If you meant resolution value in Mac system settings.)
For all M2 macbook air 8GB RAM players who are struggling to adjust your graphic settings.
As a conclusion I ended up with these settings.
Texture: high
Terrain mesh: medium
Terrain image: low
Shadow quality: low
Building density: medium
Tree density: low
(Remark: this settings are my personal optimized settings for macbook air M2 with 8GB RAM If you have 16GB RAM you can have higher settings than mine)
I got 16~30FPS at London heathrow LHR EGLL with these settings.
It runs amazing on Mac, but when flying over London, LA, NYC, you sure get quite a dip. The buildings are too blame, when I turn them to low I am limited to my monitor!
For now I settled on ultra for most, high for shadows (I get too much aliasing around shadows going higher) and buildings to high, trees to low. The last setting doesn’t impact performance that much, but on low it is still very full of green everywhere so I keep it like that.
Problem is that 99% of the time my frames are far above 70 fps on a standard Mac mini m4. It would be nice to see some future improvements in those big cities, maybe more a dynamic building density. I agree with you that going below medium is such a huge difference, almost like a few steps in between could be useful. But I guess these cities impact performance on most systems anyway, now it goes to 25 fps above LA which is acceptable and doesn’t impact the experience that much.
Wow that is very helpful info! thx
You can reduce the building density in the graphics quality settings, which should help with dense cities like London.
Thank you for your advice.Although it may be a little rude of me to ask this, but I would like to keep the building density of medium, Is there a another way to increase fps?
Hello aerofly community,Its been a month since I bought aerofly fs 4.
And Im having a lot of fun flying in this sim
But recently I realized that flying above london city is too much for my laptop(Since I bought 8GB RAM on my mac)
So I would like to know which graphical settings should I adjust? There are many things that adjustable in aerofly graphic setting and I dont know which one to adjust.
New year, new information, new images... Do we have it?
Well, there aren't such a huge news here so far.
So all we gotta do is sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.
Also we don’t really need another teaser we have seen the last teaser and they pretty much got the cockpit and externior done,I think it’s pretty much finished.
Yea I hope so, but I also hope they had enough holidays.
Is this a real life photo? the hand looks real. The big white arrows and red edge lights indicate that the area can be used for the start of the take off run but the end of the approach lights are inside the displaced threshold. This presentation is not in the books, you cannot line up on the displaced threshold and run down any elevated approach lights? Might this be a space restricted runway?
Yeah, But I don't think this RWY is space restricted runway.
Also That 777 cockpit view pic is reference of youtube video taking off from Tokyo RJTT.
(Sorry for chatting different theme in here IPACS)
Should the edges of the displaced threshold not be in red and the approach lighting be before the start of the displaced threshold?
Seems It should.
I do no longer remember. But, I think reverses simply work after my little tutorial. As you calibrate from idle to mid flex/toga, when using it going above idle for reverse, it should trigger the reverses.
I begin to forget seriously.
Display MoreFor me it works as it should. As I remember, it is important to always start from idle when configuring:
- Thrust configuration (Axes "X" and "Y"): push the lever forward from idle
- Reverse configuration (Axes "Reverse 1" and "Reverse 2"): pull the lever backwards from idle
At reverse are also switched
- Button 12
- Button 16
Wow
After the all these method, I finally figured out what was wrong with my TCA throttle,When I checked the TCA thrustmaster Driver soft, I found that my [Enable virtual button] check box were empty, So that is the reason why my button 12 and 16 didnt work properly.
I really appreciate both of you for helping me constantly.
Finally I can fly properly with my throttle, Thank you so much guys and have a wonderful holiday!!
Display MoreThis is what I used to do when I was an Aerofly user:
In Aerofly, at the time of phase 1 of calibration, move the FLAPS and SPEED BRAKE levers in all their amplitude, but for the throttles do not go further than between FLEX and TOGA from IDLE:
Then, in phase 2 of the calibration, center FLAPS on 2 and SPEED BRAKE on 1/2 and THROTTLE on CLIMB (this phase actually seems to have no effect).
This method makes it possible to fully engage the CL trigger, but on the other hand makes it more delicate, but very correct, the engagement of the FLEX notch. However, it is less evil than losing the A/THR in mid-flight!
Thank you so much for giving me a perfect instruction.
And just to confirm, Is it impossible to assign reverse thrust on axis X and Y?
Or should I assign another axis for reverse thrust?
Moin,
I also have a Mac and use 2 Airbus TCA Quadrants with the two addons on this one.
During the necessary calibration, you must make sure that you move the thrust levers right around.
During operation, my experience is to move all switches and levers once over their complete length of movement after each start of the FS 4, so that everything is correctly synchronised.
If you may find the fine-tuning of certain lever positions not exactly enough, you can correct this in the gc-map.mcf (text file), but it is a little tricky.
Thank you for your advice.
I did a calibration for many times, but every time I calibrate, the reverse detents aren't making any signals to assignment settings:(
Yo! You're an artist! This amazing cook just cooked one of the best flight deck in the world! Everyone's gonna want a taste.
