In the A350, pressing the arrow down button reduces brightness, while pressing the arrow up button increases brightness. However, on the MFD screen, the button direction and brightness adjustment are opposite. Due to the installation direction of the MFD screen being reversed,I speculate that after installing the screen upside down, the adjustment logic was not modified in a timely manner. In order to maintain the same operating logic and not look counterintuitive, the functions of these two buttons should be swapped.

If you start with any preset other than cold and dark these values should already be entered for you. If you note down those values you should enter them after a startup from cold and dark as well. Usually you can also just double tap on a field to set the default values but I'm not sure if they are correct yet. With the next update the weights and speeds of the A380 are completely overhauled and the cheat code with double tap or double click on PC works correctly.

Please check if you entered the correct zero fuel weight and fuel weight. The Airbus does not let you fly slower than VLS (yellow line on the PFD) to prevent a low energy situation. Your approach speed should be at least VLS +5KT.

I personally don’t use VNAV speed for landing and usually set my own auto throttle speed, but usually when I keep pulling the airspeed knob h the plane starts slowing down.
