So it finally worked, it is necessary to create a new folder "scenery" in the default "addons" folder using the "simlink" command which refers to the folders on the external drive.

"Redirect the user folder
The “extra_user_folder” setting can be used to add a new path for user-made aircraft and scenery. If your C drive has limited storage space left you can use a folder on a different drive instead.
- Create an empty folder on your other storage medium
- Name it something general like “aerofly_fs”.
- Copy the path of the folder and paste it into the ‘extra_user_folder’ field
- Replace all back slashes \ with forward slashes /
- Save the file and start Aerofly FS.
For example:
creates new folders such as D:\aerofly_fs\scenery\ when Aerofly FS 4 is started. Use the newly created aircraft, scenery or addon subfolders just like in the regular documents directory."
In the main.mcf file you can specify a custom path for user scenery. The setting is called extra_user_folder

So I was living in a delusion 😊, the scenery doesn't work on my external drive (Mac). If I move them to the internal drive, where they should be, everything is OK. At the same time, the game "sees" the external drive with the scenery directories, etc. I've been trying all day and nothing. For me, it's a major issue, I only have 250 GB on the internal drive 🙁. Shouldn't the developers have a moment to advise? thanks

For me, the Thrustmaster Airbus Edition works with FS 4 on the Mac, but not with FS global on iPhone or iPad.
That's good news :-), I have a PC Mac M4, do I need to solve the firmware? I use a PlayStation Dual Sense game controller, but I don't like the throttle control. Will the combination of PStation and Qvadrant Thurstmaster work? thanks

Hello, I just noticed in the description “AP”, does the thrustmaster airbus edition work with Mac? Officially, compatibility is only listed with Win.

Hello, Thank you. I have already advanced and with the help of AI 😊, I edited the main.mcf. "cz" scenarios work, but e.g. Hawaii doesn't. I changed the name of the external drive to Data1. So the path to it is: /Volumes/Data1/scenery. Maybe it will help someone else with a Mac and an external Kingston.

Hello,
so this doesn't work: -
It doesn't work, could you suggest what should be the path for the external scenery? I'm using scenery for fs2, what should the inner members be for fs4? Thanks

hello, so a new installation on the internal SSD, then without user scenes, loading the game OK, but I already know that my mini apple M4 with 256 GB is not enough. Is it possible to place new scenery on an external drive in STEAM? Thanks

Hello, I have fs4 - STEAM (200 Gb) on a fast external SSD (USB 4 including cable), it takes 10 minutes to load, is it normal?, suffering for me.

Thanks
