The fuel system in the C172 is experimental and currently there is no option to refuel it. And yes, it consumes fuel currently but currently that is the only aircraft that does this. We had other airplanes consume fuel in the past but without any refueling or setting the fuel before the flight we kept getting complaints (rightfully so) that the aircraft kept running out of fuel. So for now we've stopped fuel consumption and will add it back once the sim supports this better.
Sorry for bringing this up again, but is there any way to remove the fuel consumption, for example tweaking something in the tmc file?

How complex is it to add positions in the terminals to start flights in cold and dark mode? I miss having more positions in several airports...
It seems to me that this has improved in newer airports, but there are still many airports with few available positions. And what really bothers me is when the available positions are poorly placed, outside the gates or in the completely wrong direction, causing the plane to have its tail facing the side of the buildings.
On my last flight, I had to go through this again. I flew from Cologne (EDDK) to Klagenfurt (LOWK) and the available positions in Cologne are very poor...I think there should be a feature that allows you to spawn cold and dark anywhere, not just in the white plane presets. This would make it easier on developers, and allow you to spawn in more interesting places.

Are you saying you removed C172 fuel consumption, or you removed others and the C712 still has it?

On the fuel indicator, both of the tanks were empty for me.

Hey,
I am currently doing a cross country flight in the C172. I was doing a leg from KCPK to KJAX, but my plane ran out out of fuel and I had to do an emergency landing in KGGE.
My engine started sputtering and it would get random bursts of power. It was not my fault (I don’t think) because my mixture was leaned properly, and I did not do anything to cause this.
I am very confused. I thought fuel was not implemented in Aerofly yet. Is there even a way to refuel?

I could be wrong, but the APU of the 787 is electric and it has no sound.

Hey,
I was wondering if there is a feature to resume a flight after shutting down Aerofly.
As of now, you are able to pause the sim by returning to the main menu. However, if you shut down Aerofly and try to resume, your plane is in the same place, but it has all of your autopilot settings off. Also, it seems like it starts a new flight as the playback function restarts.
It would be awesome if there was a feature that allowed you to resume flights exactly as they were after shutting down the sim. This would be great for doing long hauls where you can't do it all in one sitting, and you don't want to leave your computer idiling for an extended period of time.

I made a thread about this a while ago.
All of the Airbus planes besides the A319 and a few liveries on the A320 have this problem. I feel like it makes the planes look weird, and it seems like a very easy fix to make the area around the cockpit windows the color of the body.

Hey,
I was just wondering if there are any plans to introduce the A220 family to Aerofly. I know that IPACS said aircraft development isn’t on the top of their list, as they are very busy with other things, and I appreciate all of the hard work they are putting into Aerofly.
I just think it’s the perfect addition (along with the NEO’s :D), also since it is not a popular aircraft in other sims.

Hey,
Each aircraft currently has a pilot skin that is assigned to the aircraft. I was wondering if you were able to switch that. For example, the Airbus captain flies the Boeings, the Beechcraft pilot flies the Cessna, etc. I read in a forum from a while back that you can mess around with the folders in the files, but I never figured out how to do that.If anyone knows how, please let me know!

Try raising your airspeed or lowering your flaps to change the AOA on approach.
