Ok I will get that asap. Thanks.

This has happened to me a few times before, but most recently it was a 777. There was a somewhat sharp turn in my flight path and LNAV started turning, but when it was lined up, it kept on turning. It kept going in circles for over 15 minutes, and it would have kept on going if I didn’t stop it. My current solution is to select a heading and name use HDG select, then switch back to LNAV after a few minutes. I was at 35,000 FT and M.84.

Is there a creation tool by IPACS?
-
I am starting from zero. Is there a software I need to download?

How do I create my own airport models?
-

I think it is a night light rendering issue. If you fly by an airport at night the lights will be weird and rectangular. Also, if at an airport during night and you use tower cam zoomed in, lights will be rectangular aswell.

Don’t follow my advice! What are ways to properly lean your mixture?
-
When I lean my mixture I just try to find highest rpm’s.

In Aerofly planes like the 787-9 and the 737-800 have differences between each livery (787 engines and 737 scimitars). I recently made a forum requesting engine spirals for the AA 787, but I realized that it would (hopefully) be easier for devs to add a feature that allows you to customize those features for yourself. For example, for all of the 737 planes, having the option to toggle split scimitars for every livery (I know that would be very hard and some airlines don’t have the scimitars). However, I feel like having the ability to toggle the engine spirals on and off for the 787 on every livery would not be too hard to implement, and it would be cool so you can use what variants the airlines have in real life. For the devs, I feel like this is easier to do in one update rather than having to do many small updates if you want to update lots of 787 liveries.
Thanks for reading. -
Dear IPACS,
I know it is a silly request, but it would be awesome if you added the engine spirals for the American 787-9. From my research, most of the Dreamliners operated by AA have the spirals in the engines, and I think they look super cool combined with the livery. I am sorry to ask for more just after a huge awesome update.
Thanks for reading, and thank you IPACS. -
Wow. I am so impressed with this update. I love all of the new planes (especially the 787-9) and I am so happy we now have the A320Neo. I also love the new weight and balance system, and the new aircraft carriers are super awesome. I am so thankful for all of the hard work from the developers, and this sim just got so much better. Also, it seems like the a320 autopilot got fixed, as it is following a descent flight plan really nicely. I also love all of the new handmade airports, and I am so happy we finally have Canada airports!
Thanks for this update, and I can’t wait to see how this sim evolves in the future! -
The fuel system in the C172 is experimental and currently there is no option to refuel it. And yes, it consumes fuel currently but currently that is the only aircraft that does this. We had other airplanes consume fuel in the past but without any refueling or setting the fuel before the flight we kept getting complaints (rightfully so) that the aircraft kept running out of fuel. So for now we've stopped fuel consumption and will add it back once the sim supports this better.
Sorry for bringing this up again, but is there any way to remove the fuel consumption, for example tweaking something in the tmc file?

Are you saying you removed C172 fuel consumption, or you removed others and the C712 still has it?
Thanks for responding! -
IPACS, is there any way to refuel, or any codes I can tweak to make sure I don’t run out?
-
On the fuel indicator, both of the tanks were empty for me.
-
I did make a route for it.
-
What?
Did you program , file it in as a route?

Hey,
I am currently doing a cross country flight in the C172. I was doing a leg from KCPK to KJAX, but my plane ran out out of fuel and I had to do an emergency landing in KGGE.
My engine started sputtering and it would get random bursts of power. It was not my fault (I don’t think) because my mixture was leaned properly, and I did not do anything to cause this.
I am very confused. I thought fuel was not implemented in Aerofly yet. Is there even a way to refuel?
