In this regard, I will tell you an old story that is now obsolete. In 1980, when I first worked alone as an agricultural helicopter pilot, a check flight with an experienced pilot was required before the start of the season. A friend of mine and I had to go to Maklár. It was there that they flew a check with him for the first time. They took off, disappeared and came back after a remarkably long time, about 15-20 minutes. Then I followed. We took off, after about 3 km we had to land next to an SUV. There, the checking pilot's rifle was placed in the cockpit. Then we took off again and looked for a deer. This was shot from the air by my instructor. Then I landed and the instructor put the deer in the cockpit. We flew back to the SUV, I hovered there and the instructor threw the deer out of the cockpit. Then I had to get down next to the SUV and the instructor carefully let go of the rifle. After that, we went back to Maklár airport with innocent faces.
When we were done, I asked my friend: Did you shoot a deer too? No, we shot a fox, he replied.
