The 262 probably drank more fuel!

Luckily, these Learjet engines don't drink anything in the simulator. The only time the gauge goes to zero is when I turn off the generator. 8)

They are (no comment) engines. No comment is always very convenient.

It's true, the situation is a bit like when you could fly over Mont Blanc with the Wright Flyer. However, accurate handling of the throttle can be simulated. But at least an ADF instrument would be good for the 262.

The real life Operation Bodenplatte new year’s day 1945 Luftwaffe fighter mass attack relied on Ju 88 bombers to do the navigation. A dedicated pair of eyes with a map and a watch did the outbound guidance. (The apparently quite common bearing and distance gauge must have had limitations).

A big complex tail dragger vintage twin would go down well to accompany the Me 262. A Ju 88 would be exceptionally versatile.

In the simulator, we will probably fly with these engines.
Messerschmitt Me 262, D-IMTT – AIR LEGEND

I would be happy with the Ju-88 too, it was a good plane. But what a scandal the Me-262 was too. Maybe we'll have to wait a little longer until IPACS collects some coffee money from the sale of airliners again. :)
