What I've created here over the years isn't financially viable through official channels. Back then, in response to an inquiry from IPACS, I looked into the cost of satellite imagery for commercial use across all of Japan. It came to around €560,000. Just as an example.

It's not just about the purchase price of such images, but also about the additional cost of a complete restoration. Satellite images are usually badly damaged and look terrible. I painstakingly restore them image by image using Photoshop and by hand. For "Bella Italia," I had about 8,000 images back then. Therefore, the only option is to download satellite images for free and then offer them—my work—on a donation basis. There's no other way if you want top quality. And I also have to say: Leaving Higgy aside for a moment—I myself received hardly any donations. And that's why the business is now closed, because there are too many people who still haven't grasped the situation.
