In this video, I present 6 arrivals at Galeão Airport, all with approaches to runway 15 but with landing authorized on runway 10, forcing a left turn with little margin for error.
In the 1980s, I spent every Saturday and Sunday on the terrace of Galeão Airport, and it was wonderful to see the planes, feel the wind on my face, hear the sound of the engines, and of course, smell that wonderful scent of aviation kerosene, not to mention the landing and takeoff operations... golden age of the airport and our airlines.
Once, I saw a Trans Brasil Boeing 727 make this approach, and the next day a beautiful Boeing 767-300 from the beloved Varig did the same, and those images never left my mind, which is why I checked the difficulty level to try to reproduce it here in my simulator.
Nowadays, it's almost impossible to see a scene like that, but those who saw it never forget the talented "old-school pilots."
Thank you very much for your attention.
