Amazing soft landing in Rio de Janeiro

After being away for over a month due to health issues and other matters, I am pleased to share this humble video made on my simulator. It allows us to look back at the wonderful Boeing 747-400 of the dearly missed Varig airline landing on Runway 15 at Galeão—though, as you may recall, it used to be Runway 14.
Back in the 1980s, the observation deck at Galeão would be packed on weekends, and I was always there with my beloved, late father. There were so many different aircraft back then—each one more beautiful than the last—including planes from Vasp, Varig, Transbrasil, Cruzeiro, and many other domestic and international carriers. Every now and then, we’d see planes approaching Runway 14, only for the pilot to bank left on short final and land on Runway 09 instead... it was fantastic to watch!
Anyway, enough talk—please enjoy the video. It’s quite simple, but making it brought a few tears to my eyes as I remembered those days and my dear father.
