@alin_cristinel Have you noticed how the external fuselage looks unnaturally bright during night flights? This unreal effect loses the immersion of night flight. In reality, most of it should appear darker since there's limited light at night, except near actual light sources.

When I lower my device's brightness, aircraft surfaces still appear unnaturally bright at night. This indicates the issue likely stems from:
Material shaders not adapting to low-light conditions.
Lighting parameters not calculating proper nighttime physics.
In real world,Aircraft fuselage surfaces should be primarily dark during night operations, reflecting low ambient light conditions. Light sources create localized illumination. Areas immediately adjacent to these lights are visibly…

The issue isn't just "darkening the outside" – it's that:
Aircraft materials use wrong reflections which makes them glow at night, but in the real world the aircraft should be darker when flying at night because there is no strong light source .(except for the moonlight)
shdkd posted the thread Question about the overall 'brightness' setting being evaluated.

Hi IPACS team,
Just to confirm my understanding: When you mention an "overall 'brightness' setting", is this:
1. A display-level adjustment (like reducing phone brightness where everything darkens uniformly), or
2. A render pipeline adjustment implementing physically-based night lighting? (e.g., modifying core calculations like material shaders and environment lighting parameters for separate day/night responses).
The reason I ask: Even when I lower my device's brightness, aircraft…

Really happy to hear about the brightness adjustment coming! Just want to make sure I understand it correctly-when you say "overall brightness setting", does it mean making everything darker equally, like when we turn down phone brightness, or like physically accurate night lighting, which means modify the core lighting calculation? (eg. separate day/night material response). So cockpit instruments glow properly while outside gets truly dark.
Would it be possible to have two separate lighting…

Dear IPACS Team,
As a player of Aerofly FS Global Mobile, I greatly appreciate its visual achievements. However, a consistent technical observation emerges: the entire nighttime environment – including aircraft exteriors, cockpit interiors, and all scenery – exhibits elevated brightness levels. Even under minimal illumination, the virtual world appears unnaturally lit, resembling daytime conditions. This contrasts distinctly with Aerofly FS 4’s authentic low-light rendering. Adjusting device…

Dear IPACS team,
Thank you for your continued efforts and passion in developing the Aerofly FS series.
Through long-term experience, I have noticed a significant change in night lighting behavior since the release of Aerofly FS Global.
At night, both aircraft surfaces and the ground environment often appear uniformly bright, even in areas that should naturally be in shadow.
The effect feels like a simple dimming of daytime rendering, rather than lighting properly adapted to nighttime…
