Agreed 100%. As a first time simmer and long-time simmer wannabe, after "browsing" the competing simulators I have to say all-in-all, Aerofly FS 4 wins (I mainly use the Mac app). It hits the "sweet spot" in so many ways that the competitors miss -- performance, simplicity, interface, discoverability, quality. Yes, I want more realistic earth (don't mind paying for it), documentation (sim and flying in general), more tutorials, faster bug fixes. But even without these, it's really amazing…

Plus one to this! Seems it would resolve both sides -- fly amazing machines in realistic scenarios but not actually blow things up.

This was driving me crazy. Did not know my glide slope needed to start above center. Thank you tnw2933 for bringing this up and helping me move on with my training!
May I suggest updating the tutorial to make this more clear? Just one sentence would save a lot of grief. :)
(I have other comments on that tutorial but I'll save it for another day.)
