Hi all, I noticed that Aerofly RC10 crashed on startup on a Mac M5 when two controllers are connected at the same time. I alternate transmitters between a Spektrum connected to a USB dongle and a Radiomaster Pocket bound to the Mac via bluetooth. When the USB dongle is left in the mac (not bound to the Spektrum transmitter) and the second transmitter is bound to the Mac via bluetooth, RC10 crashes on startup. Noch ein zusätzlicher Tipp, den ich lange nicht kannte: Wenn Du die BLE Joystick Funktion aktivierst erscheint ein neues Fenster im Sender...durch langes Drücken der RTN (return) taste verschwindet das Fenster und die Joystick Funktion bleibt trotzdem aktiviert - d.h. Du kannst dann ganz normal alle anderen Funktionen des Senders nutzen.

Hi burki, die konkrete Frage nach dem Ansteuern des Ikarus USB Interface über einen Radiomaster ELRS PWM Empfänger kann ich leider nicht beantworten. Wenn Du mit einem ELRS Sender den RC10 drahtlos ansteuern möchtest, funktioniert das bei mir bestens über Bluetooth ohne das USB Interface und einen Empfänger. Ich aktiviere im ELRS Menü meiner Radiomaster Pocket die BLE Joystick Funktion und kann den Sender danach ganz normal als Bluetooth Game Controller mit dem PC/Mac verbinden. Vielleicht ist…

Thank you, Jan! That might be a potential cause, maybe the deviation is not applied twice but in the wrong direction in the route planner: Magnetic deviation for KSJC is 13° East. True heading of 12R and 12L is 139°. Magnetic heading should thus be 139° minus 13°=126° (subtract East when going from True to Magnetic) Displayed CRS in the route planner is 153° which is close to 139°+13°.

Thank you, A330. Could you maybe help me and explain the difference between the course associated with the ILS/localizer in the nav. database and the runway heading? When do I use what? So far I always trained ILS landings in the C172 only with the ILS frequency and runway heading published on airport charts and that worked well :-)

Hi all, what does the CRS indication next to a ILS runway mean in the route planner? E.g. when I select KSJC (San Jose) as a destination in the route planner, I see a course (CRS) of 153° for 12R and 12L next to the ILS frequency in the route planner. The actual runway heading / approach course in airport charts is 126°. Similar for 30R and 30L, the route planner shows CRS 333°, the actual runway heading is 306°. On many other airports I checked, the CRS in route planner never really matches…

Hi, when I run RC10 on the MacBook in battery mode, the screen dims / gets dark after a few minutes even though I am actively flying and the MacBook's game mode is enabled. The controller inputs do not prevent the MacBook from dimming the screen, only mouse or keyboard activity. Is there any way to prevent the MacBook from dimming the screen? Not sure if RC10 can trigger this or if it is a setting in MacOS. EDIT: Seems this is also the case in other games / sims, e.g. Aerofly FS 4. I think…

Thank you for the quick reply, I only observe it on Mac and have no Windows device to test. We can close the issue if the Mac driver is the cause.

I decided to use my „real“ transmitters for the sim to make the sim feel as close as possible to real flying. E.g. I use a Spektrum NX7e connected wirelessly with a Spektrum WS2000 USB Dongle or through USB C cable as well as a Radiomaster Pocket that natively connects via Bluetooth. RC10 supports many different options.
