Griasdi1 posted the thread A320Neo fuel usage.
I ussually try to simulate fuel usage on flights by just removing the F. Used value from the fuel I loaded before takeoff. I think I finally created quite an accurate profile for the A320neo with PW engines. My question is: Can I use the same profile for the CFM Leap engines or is there a difference in the sim? Is the fuel flow, climb rate, etc the same?

Me neither. On the A350 I can select airways but I can’t enter anything. On the A320 Family there simply is no button for airways. I also can’t enter any airways in the route menu.
I think airways were just forgotten on iOS.
This is exactly what I meant when I said I’d rather have the update delayed a few more days to fix a some more bugs ?(

Why do such a long beta phase if many bugs found during all that time aren’t fixed before release? Don’t get me wrong, I am very grateful for the update and all the work that has gone into it. However I’m wondering what the benefit of such a long beta phase is, if many reported bugs still make it into the final release. I would honestly wait a little longer to have a completely finished update.
I’m not trying to say the update is bad, I just think a few more days developement and bug fixing…

A320ceo??? As long as aerofly exists
Griasdi1 replied to the thread Flaps 3 landing, A320 ceo.
If you get the warning, you forgot to set flaps 3 landing on the overhead panel.
If the speed stays the same when you select conf 3 you probably have a VAPP hard tuned. Make sure you clear it beforehand, otherwise the Flaps 3 landing will feel weird on all airbuses. On the A321ceo the speed increases by about 5 knots, on the A320neo even a bit more while on the ceo it ussually just increases by 3 knots. You also need to make sure you have the winds set to 0 when trying this, as otherwise GS…
Griasdi1 posted the thread Flaps 3 landing, A320 ceo.
Something feels off when doing Flaps 3 landings with the A320ceo. The pitch seems way too high(depending on the situation 5 to 8 degrees). While the flare should feel a bit different, if you ask me, it just feels strange (probably due to the high pitch).
The wind was nearly turned off (to prevent GS mini changing the speed). The weight was set correctly. I selected Flaps 3 in the MCDU and on the overhead panel.
Flaps 3 landings feel very good on all other airbus aircraft (A319ceo, A320neo,…

Griasdi1 posted the thread Trouble when doing step descends on the A320 Family.
When doing a step descend, the cab alt first seems to climb which is unrealistic but doesn’t really matter. After it reaches 8000ft it begins to descend and that’s where the problems start. It doesn’t stop at the new cab alt corresponding the new FL but it keeps descending which then has the differential pressure increase until it eventually even goes above the max allowed delta pressure which then makes the numbers appear in red.
It shouldn’t really matter which device you’re using for this…
Griasdi1 posted the thread A320 Family Overspeed.
I searched a lot because I couldn‘t believe noone reported this before but I found nothing. If I missed something I‘m sorry, just delete this.
When at high altitudes the red overspeed-band should start at Mach 0,82 while it currently starts at 0,85.
Just lowering the mach number won‘t solve the issue as the autopilot would then fly into the overspeed regularly and also a high Cost Index would lead to an overspeed so this would need some rework.
From what I know the A320 family has a VMO of…
