My fear is that if -900 is made first and then later users want the -1000. It would be disregarded just like with Infinite Flight. I mean we have never had -1000 on any sim (I know RFS has theirs but I could care less about them). The better solution… -

No not necessarily the a320 has been in the sim since aerofly fs 1 mobile probably before they started following the system of larger variant first then shorter variant -

But the problem is that we never get the shorter variants, the 787-10 is already 2.5 years old and the 777-300ER 4.5 years old. At this point, woudn't it be easier just adding the most popular one instead of the larger one, and that's it? -

I know that, I was just using the A321 as an example of why the "larger variant first then shorter variant" rule doesn't really make sense. If they were really following this logic, we would have had an A319 instead of an A321 -

An A35K would not be ideal. We haven't seen any shrunken variants yet so I don't trust that an A359 would ever be made based off of a -1000, so making a -900 first would be preferable. -

If the plane is bigger it's easier to scale it down by removing parts of the fuselage to make it smaller but if the plane is a smaller version they have to make a whole new section to add it to the plane to get the target length which is why IPACS… -

And it has more liveries possible for flyability (ex. Delta, China Airlines, Air France, Azul, Lufthansa, KLM one day, etc.)
