Pacific North West 🤔

My flying hours on aerofly have been a little low , but with this is it will definitely go back up 👏👏👏 .

I am aware of that.. thats why I asked for a setting to adjust individually to my personell taste as I indeed would sacrifice full braking action for a realistic decelleration on rollout (..I try not to mess up the landing most of the time)
Regards
Robert
And this is the winner.
I now adjusted to 0.2 which makes decelleration much more realistic. You earned a Like !
Thank you much goofy

Of course.. but thats not what I want.
I was hoping for a config value (in the aircraft file) like : <WheelBrakeStrengthPercent>100</WheelBrakeStrengthPercent>
Regards
Robert
Open the tmd file Look for [wheel Brake] reduce the value and save it , I have mine at .5 , make sure you back up a copy of the tmd in case things go haywire.

you can do it with the Developer's view (CTRL + F8), but you have to be INSIDE the cargo bay to open the door..
Thanks for the info 👍

I saw an A320 with it's cargo doors open on steam
.
-
question , how do you open the doors on the A320 ?
-
since new models are hard to come by , paint kits for the 737 and A320 would be a nice addition to this sim .

vulkan gives me a big boost in perfomance but i get a lot of shimmering on taxiway lines , high antialias enable .

Strange shadow rendering with Vulkan (with or w/o AA)
- Geometric shadows on pilots legs.
- "Starburst" shadows around instruments.
- Geometric shadows on medium distance mountains.
All change position with pilot head position
Appears in 2d and Rift
GTX 1080TI with 398.36 driver
nothing unusual in tm.log
Had the same issue , moving the shadow slider to High or insane fixed it for me .

You should probably take a look at our user manual in the wiki, where we have several flight tutorials with nice screenshots and explanations:
Cessna: https://www.aerofly.com/dokuwi…hp/aircraft:cessna_172_sp
Airbus A320: https://www.aerofly.com/dokuwi….php/aircraft:airbus_a320
Thanks 👍

Did not know that , thank you .
-
I tought this feature was implemented before , it must of been another simulator I was playing , thanks .
-
I'm pretty sure something changed on the autopilot heading , I'm having to hit the heading selection key 180 times to make 180* turn , using the A320 .
-
I had the exact same issue today , screen is black and does not start , all drivers updated , only happens in areofly fs2 .
-
-
same here , for now to keep the plane from doing a barrel roll you have to set the heading manually to match the autopilot before you can disconnect the a/p .

Doesn't your A320 have brakes? Why is it less enjoyable if it continues taxiing at the set speed at idle. Don't understand that complaint.
The problem is , you can't apply the brakes gradually like in real life , it's either full brakes or nothing which makes the plane jerk everytime you try to slow down , I'm also willing to sacrifice a little realism for no speed at idle .
