Nice review. Thanks for doing that.

I have just been flying around those islands in the F18. Beautiful scenery it is too. Thank you again Michael and TomSimMuc for all your work.

I am not sure about GB. We have the Netherlands and I do recollect PNW mentioned a while ago. Why not ask on the Orbx forum.

Can you suggest one particular fundraising site? We could simply trust people and say if you download the scenery please make a donation to it. Maybe they could also add a comment to flight sim.org of how much and it would be possible to know what the total is.
Thank you guys for your interest in the Aussie situation. As far as where to donate goes this one is probably one of the best single points, and it has a section for overseas donors.

They are also a large organisation with proven integrity so you know your money is going to be well spent.
On the other hand, and as I mentioned a few posts ago, if you want to donate to support ecological regrowth and the ongoing efforts to aid wildlife (1.25 billion animals dead or will die because of the bushfires) you can go to this site. Also a large and well organised group.
wwf.org.au
I have started a thread called Bushfire donations and made an initial donation where you can record what you have donated. I am not fond of doing this as folk will give what they can afford and sometimes it is not always as much as they would like to. But, it does give some idea of what your efforts have raised for the charities.

Great idea about donations but difficult for Michael to track and issue passwords etc. Plus there are a lot of donation sites up and running now so choices abound. Seeing Kangaroo Island is up for scenery next, reminded me that 170,000 hectares of that Island have been burnt out. I was thinking of the devastating effect these fires have had on our wildlife. wwf.org.au have details on that if anyone is interested.

I am absolutely gob smacked Michael. When I suggested the small Island down south and the city starting with A I had no idea you would take me seriously and actually do it. My birthday has come early!! Thank you for this scenery.
-
For them that does not know. I googled it and IVAO stands for International Virtual Aviation Organisation. And yet another AFLA rears its ugly head (Another Four Letter Acronym).

Hi Michael. If you do any more UK islands please do not forget the one far to the South. It is called Australia, and alphabetically Adelaide is it's first big city.
-
Thank you for your magnificent effort Michael. This will keep me happy and busy exploring for quite a while.

Thanks for the info. My TAB A is 32 bit which explains why I could not download FS2020.
-
Anyone know which Android tablets will work with FS2020? Playstore tells me my current Tab A 10.1 is not suitable. I am thinking of getting a Lenovo 8 inch with 4gb of Ram and 256gb storage.

Thank you for this beautiful work!I only just noticed that there are other planes flying about in that scenery too! Houston! We are not alone!! Incredible work. I would give you double thumbs up for this one.
-
Perhaps if you had said that in the first instance I would have felt no need to have been "short" back to you! As it is you have ended up giving me a proper answer anyway, I normally fly from external view so do not look at the cockpit gauges much. I just hit the I button every so often for take off and landings so I will keep my eye on that tape readout from now on. Thank you.

Jet -Pack, why are you so aggressive? I asked a legitimate question as I am not familiar with this model. You really think your response is okay? How on earth did you get to be moderator?
-
Thank you emfrat. Nice link.
-
What is the recommended take off and landing speeds?
-
Hi Jeepee, that sounds strange. If you select a "standard" plane like the P38 does that load straight away? I think if you can see your add on plane and select it then it should load just the same as the official one. I am assuming you are adding it to the correct directory (in my case C:\users\AeroflyFS2\aircraft), you had best double check your installation against the instructions.
