I'm with you there buddy!

Well... I don't see the point doing trans continental flights if you don't fly the whole time ...
I also don't see the point in this but I prefer tanken2's solution over what a lot of other long haulers do: start a flight and then let the computer run for hours and hours and hours while they themselves go shopping or working in the garden or even sleeping...
But of course this is what real transcontinental pilots do. They might take off, fly for a while, then a relief crew steps in. They return only for landing.
Didn't Rodeo say his answer came directly from the Bing Director of licensing?
Come on, you know us better than that, we don't like to give solid timeframes on release in case something comes up and we have to delay (which does happen), but I'm going to be bold here and say that the R22 SHOULD be released some time this fall, so it won't be too much longer.
Really? Fall runs from September 22 to December 21. That is not only vague, but it is not really soon either.
Thanks Oldar: I would not have dared to translate that literally, however it seems to work in english too.
I knew several of the words, so I put them together. Then I checked on Google translate. I knew it said you can't dance at several somethings, but I didn't recognize the word for weddings in German until I looked it up.
All these and even GoFlight modules work with GFKeys. But the problem is rather reading from Aerofly FS2 than sending to. Reading means eg. frequencies or status of a button or switch. I can dial in easily with the GoFlight MCP eg. the altitude but do not see the display of it in the display.
I used to be a home cockpit builder with the MS Flightsim series and also hoped that IPACS would follow that road. But since I have an Oculus Rift I will not return. In VR I have any kind of cockpit from a C172 to a B747. And I am sure this will evolve enormously in the coming years.
In german we say: man kann nicht auf mehreren Hochzeiten tanzen (you can't have your cake and eat it too). This means to focus and IPACS seems to focus on other things which I can understand.
"You cannot dance at several weddings". Very cool! I will have to try and work that into a conversation.
I have recently been having a similar problem, as sections that I know I have made and have actually seen before now no longer seem to display.
I don't know the answer, but I'm sure someone will get to you shortly!
I think that the Oculus Rift with hand controllers is currently the best option if flight sims are your biggest VR area of interest.
The Vive has many advantages, including a larger base of programs, but I get better performance in all flight sims with the Oculus.
By far the best performing flight sim for VR is Aerofly FS 2. The others are still lagging far behind.
I have extensive experience with these two units, and none with any of the other options.
The performance, whether in VR or on a screen. And performance when loading up and changing scenery areas or planes. Those things should make FS 2 a "category killer" if it reaches a critical mass of users.
I think he would like to be able to zoom on the fly, without having to go to the settings menu.
So would I!
Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone else's for getting this bird back into the air.
Yes, once you log into your account it knows what you have.
I can't hardly wait to go sightseeing over the new Netherlands in the DR400. It is wonderful for that!
It's very hard when you lose a parent. My condolences.
And former pilots (my case, unfortunately).
I think that a lot of you who are complaining are over doing it.
It's their first region release for Orbx and I think they did an amazing job, I ratter have a beautiful region with many upgraded airport (because they are know for super detailed airport) then one airport. 40+ airports + an amazing region for 50$, wow!
I think that some of you guys should go back to FSX juste to appreciate the TE Nederland and FS2.
Ben
There is no need to be insulting. They just disagree with you. They don't deserve disdain.
Having said that, I think it needs to be remembered that this is a regional scenery, and not an airport scenery. We should expect less detail at these airports than we get in an airport specific add-on. I am satisfied with the detail we have gotten at Schipol and the other airports, and I am impressed with the level of detail I am seeing in the cities.
Now just extend this level of detail to the rest of the world and I will be happy.
I also see some loading stutter in Amsterdam. It is just like in the Chicago scenery. I suspect it is inevitable.
Amazing how detailed it is! Really great.
However I must say Amsterdam Schiphol is ugly like a default airport in FS9, not one single gangway, buildings with very bad textures.
Well, it is better than the version available in FSCloudport.
It is wonderful.
In fact, it is so wonderful that the lack of road traffic becomes even more noticeable! Now that we know that Jeff is bugging Torsten about traffic, can there be any doubt it will show up soon?
